You think Valero will be the real deal?

He has speed, and power, but I still want to see how he does when he steps up in competition, such as Pitula. I didn't see much speed when I last looked. I saw two quite recent fights and there was nothing very special about him. He used his straight left often, and most of the time it was very obvious when he was about to throw it. as of now, no, if he moves to 135 and proves he can beat casamayor and juan diaz then of course.

doug fischer really positively thinks he is the real deal... maybe he is... but until he beats a solid contender like guzman, katsidis or maybe soto he remains a curiosity in my book....

I can't say cuz all I seen is quick KO's on Youtube. I don't expect any technical brilliance from the guy at the top level cuz he's a puncher. But that's just fine as long as he can take it as good as he gives it. Let em face off against an elite fighter and show how good his power and chin is, then we'll see. :luvbed:

I dont know enough about valero to say he is or isnt, I dont think anybody does.

i think hes the real deal. people doubt him because he hasnt fought the greatest opposition out there, but he didnt really have much choice due to licensing issues.

I think he will improve big time. With that power people will be scared to attack. I think he will be a top 15 fighter. Not right now but eventually

I'm not talking if he has proven himself right now. From what u have seen do u think he is the real deal? Will he be a top 1-15 p4p fighter? I really think so I don't know about top 15 P4P, but IMO his power is for real. This guy can really hit hard.

He is a decent fighter, with terrific power and no technical skill. He may not reach the elite, but Valero will be champion for some time and then one hell of an gatekeeper in the latter part of his career. However, a solid technical fighter would simply outbox him.

Nah, he'll get knocked out or embarrassed by a good, proven fighter. Pacquiao? Forget it. Pac annihilates him. I dont think he'll be elite like on a p4p level. His power is real though, and it will cause him to beat plenty of good fighters.
