Cotto vs. Clottey

I think Clottey would start slow but with a very efficiente peek-a-boo guard. I really think Cotto have the advantage at this fight but i can see a scenario where Clottey could win: If it become a war.

Cotto UD or late TKO do to body Shots. This fight will look like Cotto-Abdullaev!!!!!!!!!!! I was thinkin more of Cotto-Branco..peep it!.. and I also got Cotto UD..obvious reasons!..

Cotto by decision but Clottey could definitely win this fight.

Like I said before the plaster was the difference on that fight. And Cotto is a smart fighter, he is not going to be roped and doped by Clottey. Clottey has good defense to the head but his body is there and his style will allow Cotto to exploit Clotteys body. I agree 100% cotto is a very smart fighter and a very controled fighter. he is so calm in the ring, he rarely goes wild with punches, and he is always in control. he is more calm in the ring than anyone i have seen in a long time, more so than mayweather.

Yeah I kinda seeing it being a bit like the margarito fight minus the TKO. Clotty to me seems like he gets a bit winded at times and goes into that shell mode which will make cotto look good. As of now I pick cotto by UD. It's a good match up so I wouldn't be shocked if Clotty wins. Who is the chick in ur sig??

I hope members realize that Clotty, can give Cotto a real hard time and an upset is well within reason. Yeah I agree. Clottey is definitely the dark horse in the division and has been avoided as such for a long time now.

Cotto by UD. This would be a very entertaining fight, but I don't see Clottey's offensive game overwhelming Cotto as "manos de yeso" Margarito did. margo didnt beat cotto with his offense, he beat cotto with his chin. clottey can emulate margo's chin with his defense and win in a similar fashion.

I'm amazed, people don't realize Clottey is much stronger than Cotto, if someone will be on his hills that night it should be Cotto, not Clottey. It will be a good fight until one of them tires. Interested in this one, the hype will be great.

Exactly, nobody can prove Margarito cheated in the cotto fight. That's just everyone's excuse for Cotto losing.

Cotto by ko I think this is going to be a good fight if it goes down...imo cottos movement and better skill will be the big factor in the outcome...clottey is a granite chin toe to toe type of guy...ill say cotto by 10th rd stoppage

cotto by ud, clottey doesnt have the stamina to go the whole 12 rounds, He goes missing too many times..

you cant prove that margo cheated against cotto. in any case, cotto was winning the figth easily but gassed. if cotto did not gas, he'd have won the fight easily. clottey peak-a-boo defense is gonna blunt most of cotto's offense. clottey just got to stay close and force cotto to the ropes and let cotto tire himself out throwing combos. if cotto learns from his mistake and potshots, it might be a different story though, as it will be a boring cat and mouse affair.
