it sure is a great jab and can do some damage, i disagree that sturms jab is that good, he hits pretty quick and the power is ok. but he still pulls his right hand back, just like he did in his amateur days. when he gets again a guy with a good left hook he could go to sleep again

god,one of the most strongest jab i have ever seen. that left jab is a fuking weapon. by watching the judah,mosley,gomez,margarito,and jennings fight cotto's jab have landed so strong it had KD opponents. is cotto's left jab the best jab in boxing? His jab is above average but not something special.

When was the last time Jermain Taylor dominated a fight with a jab or even scored notably with it? Raul Marquez? Daniel Edouard? Jeff Lacy maybe... His jab isn't top tier. Sturm doesn't have a pity pat jab. It is straight and hard...pretty disruptive. It better be...it is his main weapon.

i agree about wlad's jab.is the only jab that i see it could cause damage.cotto left jab do damage,not like pity pat one like taylor or sturm.

It is an excellent jab, but I am unsure about saying it is the best in Boxing though...

the thing with wlad is that he got a h3ll of a right hand. so if you let him land that jab he would kill you with the right. but wlad's jab is very nice

He throw a jab like a jab should be thrown, hard and acurate no pitty pat range finding shit! Its up there but u gotta go with Wlads he just controls fights with that punch but hey he is massive, Miguel just has stubby little arms and he still does great with it

Felix Sturm and Chad Dawson also have awesome jabs.

No. Wladimir Klitschko certainly has a better jab. Cotto has a jarring, powerful jab but it is hardly used as a primary weapon.

Sharpest, most stiff jab. It's a hell of a weapon. But guys like Wlad's are probably more effective. Taylor and Sturm have great jabs as well. Cotto's jab is definitely up there though, it's far and away his best and most important weapon.
