Do "loaded" gloves effect punch output, strength of chin, and stamina?

The big question is, does "steroids" Affect batting average, fielding accuracy, or RBI's??? I mean come on the only time A-Rod used steroids was when he got caught!!:bryce:

Boxing is like 80-90% mental. Loaded gloves gives you that mental edge over your opponent. Hitting someone with rock is much more of a deterent then hitting someone with a pillow, eventually the person getting hit with the rock will wilt. Agreed. Its like sparring a guy with 8oz bag gloves and you got the 20's on. Wrong. Cotto didn't goto the body because he couldn't find any openings. You can ask Cotto yourself. The body is always open.. you just have to make go there enough times and have the balls to do it..of course cement flying at your head takes away that.

I think it does effect the fighter that has the loaded gloves in those areas. I'll tell you what,...If you had a 16 year old kid that was wanting to take steroids to gain an edge for his next years football season and you gave him a three month supply of "One A Day" multiviamins telling him they were the best steroids on the market. I'm 100% sure he would be alot bigger, stronger, and aggresive come next football season... Why? Because your mind is an amazing thing! He would bust out that last rep in the gym all summer long, his confidents would raise, he would "think" that hidden edge would be there for him when he needed it while in the trenches. Well, when you know you have hands that are going to get harder as the fight goes on, it makes it a little easier to dig through the trenches knowing that hidden edge will be there later in the fight. It's an amazing mental advantage that goes along with loaded gloves. My opinion is he has used this tactic in previous fights...he's a fraud! Great post! Green k for you my friend.

You've defended and excused every mexican fighter out for losing and cheating. I think it is safe to say that you are one of those type of posters in denial. Imagine someone who doesn't stop throwing and have a gazelle stamina,with a a loaded gloves? The other opponents has no chance, he might even be killed if Margarito have more power, good thing he didn't. What Margarito did is unacceptable, he could just took the gloves off and fight bare handed with brass knuckles on.

Getting loaded punches to the body weakens a fighter alot. Tony started out the fight with weak looking shots to the body, to cover up the plaster as the fight went on he used more of the plaster. I hate it when people ASSUME that Tony cheated against Cotto. He got caught doing something fishy with Mosley though, no question It is unknown if he did or did not. When you cheat once, that is the price you pay people will always wonder what went on and speculate.
