Cotto fans, doubts kicking in?

4 me lol the nerves always kick in a few hours before a fight,but usally disolve after the 2nd round. Cotto > Jennings lol now the nerves are setting in

will i be the only one cheerin on the underdog? think Cotto is one of the best boxers out there at the moment, but somethin is telling me Jennings is goin to be alot tougher than anyone is giving him credit for Hes nothing to loose, he will give it everything hes got because he will be in the mind set that even if he looses, if he puts on a good show he could get himself on the world stage. Catch Cotto napping? i will be cheerin him on, even if its on my own!:boxing:

Not bad points there Drew, Just checked their stats, Pavlik has an inch in height advantage and RUBIO has the reach advantage, also an inch! I think Pavlik's chin is a solid and sound one tho even if he has been down a couple of times, i cant get that first round Kofi KO out of my head tho man Rubio is pretty whack I'll say this though, Going into the later rounds I had Rubio losing his last fight that was on the Pavlik/B-hop undercard.

He threw that punch fast and at the perfect moment. Pavlik doesn't really punch like that.. I mean Rubio put himself in a bad spot for that KO but.. Sort of like Andy Lee knocking out Carl Daniels. Great punch but I'm not sure how much of an indicator it is of either man.. I haven't heard much about this kofi fellow lately.

Anybody getting the pre fight nerves and doubts? Whenever my favourite fighter fights im confident untill a couple of days before hand then i start getting worried WHOEVER they fighting but they usually win! The only time i didnt get the nerves was when Tito fought Nard and he LOST! Jennings isnt on Cotto's level tho but he is a boxer through and through, he lives in the gym, has top notch fitness, decent defence, good movement and a quality trainner in Hughes and he really wants this its his ONE big chance and its a no lose situation for him no pressure. PLUS we dont know how Cotto will be after the Marg fight yet. I think Cotto will be fine tho and get him outta there! Im watching Cotto vs Urkal just now, this fight might go a bit like that one but i dont think Jennings takes a shot as well as Urkal so mabey not SHIT im just excited!!! Yeah but I feel like Rubio has a solid KO %. Pavlik is there to be hit at times. Also, he is fighting in front of his hometown crowd.. major pressure to impress. Remember when Hatton fought Lazcanzo? He put his chin at risk just to feed the crowd. Same thing happened to Cotto when he fought PR against Corley(I think?) Ultimately both guys weathered brief life & death situations. I'm hoping it never gets to that. I think when you're in that position you feel a little invincible which can be misleading. What is rubio's height? does Pavlik have a reach advantge also? People have to remember that Pavlik's style lands him on the canvas a lot. He was even there against Zertuche. Pavlik will win but it will be closer than the Cotto fight. I watched most of his fights, he has had some entertaining ones here and is a likeable guy but id like nothing more than Miguel to literally SNAP him in two with the most Savage Left Hook to the body the world has ever seen!!!
