I was reading Infern0's thread about how Hatton is nothing and Haye and Froch are both better fighters than him, so I decided to post a thread with a poll and see what the results would look like.

See 'The Ring' rankings this week and it pretty much sums it up. No need to look into it any further.
Ricky has the best resume. Hes fought Tszyu (P4P Top 3, King at 140), Maussa (WBA Champ), Collazo (WBA Welter Champ), Urango (IBF Champ), Castillo (P4P Top 10, Ring No1 at JWW), Mayweather (P4P No1), Lazcano (Top 10 JWW), Malignaggi (Ring No1, IBF Champ)
Kinda unfair to compare to Haye and Froch though as they are just getting started. Haye would come next for unifying the cruisers, then Carl whos just won a belt and about to have his first big fight.

Ricky Hatton...
Kell Brook will be ahead of him within a year as well. Far and away the best prospect out there IMO.
Oh and I'd have Khan in there somewhere. Certainly well before the likes of Skelton and Murray and I'd fancy him to beat Cook if they ever meet.Skelton and Murray unlike Khan't havce beaten ranked opposition at the weigth they fight at.
Cook is 5'6" SFW world champion
Khan is a 5'10" "lightweight" nobody.
Plus Pavlik's backs you up and uses his size and strength to do so. He can put together good combinations when his opponent is against the ropes.
Things I've yet to see in Froch. Froch is really the definition of overrated.
agreed.
Froch is a paper champ imo.
1. Ricky Hatton
2. David Haye

3. Carl Froch
Thats how i see it. :)
You have the order correct. However, as much as I like Haye the gulf between Haye and Ricky, much like the gulf between Haye and Froch, is one almighty chasm.

Warms my heart that Froch is last on your list.
To be honest he's not or even close to it, I just stopped there.
7. Witter
8. Kell brook
9. Matt Skelton
10. John Murray
In terms of current british fighters.
1.Hatton
2.Haye
3.Nicky Cook
4.Enzo Maccarinelli

6.Carl Froch

Froch has no defense, overated power and is one dimensional.
ok that sounds silly because Pavlik is one dimensional and has no defense but at least Pavlik has a jab. :)

I seriously don't give Froch much chance of winning that fight.
