Gatti never took his career seriously until after the Ward fights. If Gatti could have focused on his career more and keep his weight in check longer he could have been a lot better.
Cotto is much better based on dedication to the sport alone.
I just hope this doesn't turn into a Gatti hating thread. Gatti was a real warrior and left all he had in the ring. Gatti had a career he can be proud of. It's not legendary but its certainly praise worthy.

He didn't say he thinks Cotto is as good as Gatti. He said he thinks if Cotto tries to double up on the jab than Floyd will counter him like he did Gatti.
Love ya Sin, but you're taking a tiny portion of what he said out of context and making it look like that's what he meant.
Way to completely misconstrue what he said. He was comparing similar physical features (arm length) between the two fighters, as he clearly stated in other posts prior to that one Nice try, though.
I doubt H-Town actually said that. If he did that's crazy. You can't even compare the two.

A Floyd with a f*cked up shoulder and messed up hand..... How would Miguel get inside??
What Double Jab... Naw open for the straight over hand right all night. Might as well call him Miguel Gatti....
Bob and Weave in... Naw Floyd will paw with the left and time straight rights all day. After the right there is the left hook...
Bull Rush in... Naw Floyd will uppercut him ala Zab and Mosley...
There is now way Miguel gets inside...
