I'm not saying nor do I think that most people will say that he used them in ALL his fights. I just wanted to highlight the fact that a less than super record doesn't is not an argument for the position that Margarito/Capetillo never attempted it before.
On a purely logical discussion it would not make sense for Capetillo to have felt the need to use it now vs a 37year old 4-1 underdog for the first time.
Thats exactly my point, i wouldnt be surprise or upset if people are questioning Margarito's other fights against younger and prime fighters like the cotto, cintron, clottey or williams one...
No hatred whatsoever from me but you have to think if he/they could try to do this against a 37 yr old past his prime fighter (mosley) who is to say they didnt/wouldnt have done it against those young ones???
But of coarse Resto didn't use them in all the fights which was the point I was making.
Like I said the gloves may have been loaded in other fights or they just may have been used for this fight but since their is no evidence just let it go.
And there is nothing wrong with finding it hard to believe that Tony was ignorent to what was being put on his hands. Thats a very reasonable observation but when people talk about it like its fact well thats what I take issue with.

Luis Resto had a less than stellar career, 8 Losses before Collins but he has admitted to using loaded gloves in other fights also.
A veteran boxer has already stated that he finds it hard to believe that Margarito didn't know about the loaded gloves.

Oh I agree with you and as long as you are using the word if or might have then I can respect that opinion.
I'm talking about people who irrationally find him guilty of using illegal wraps in all of his pro fights. Logic would dictate that he would of put up a better record if that was in fact true.
What you also have to take into consideration is that Tony may not have known that he had loaded wraps and his trainer without him knowing could have tarnished his entire career.
To me that could be one of the saddest things to come out of this situation considering that Tony is such a nice guy outside of the ring.
I dont think Margarito doesnt know what goes into his wrapped hands, I find it difficult to understand why they would try to do that though.
I wouldnt say he has been doing this in all/most of his fights but i wouldnt be upset if he gets accuse by boxing fans of doing so, For me been a nice guy outside of the ring doesnt come into it because if this was a Mayweather(Bad guy) thing am pretty sure hell would have frozen over.
Like you said this is a sad day for boxing as a whole because we are going to lose a fighter for a year a fighter who i think can make boxing big/bigger with his fighting style but i just cant excuse a behaviour like what happened.
I think it's unfair to say anything like that since their is no actual proof!
Plus if they were using the substance in the other fights why did Tony also have such a less than steller record before the Mosely fight? You would think the wraps would have had more of an impact against other fighters if they were used.

Its not unfair for any boxing fan to think he might have done it before prior to him facing Mosley, Am a fan of margarito (Not a major fan) but i wouldnt say its unfair if anyone question his previous fights.
How would there be proof??? The commission have alway signed off his wrap as legal in the past and they did so on this occassion as well if not for Mosley trainer.

I would blame both of them, the also would leave a doubt in people's mind who would start questioning Margarito's other big wins now, Because if they could try and pull this stuff against a 37 year old fighter who is past his prime in Mosley who say they wouldnt have done that against a prime, young and fit fighters like Cotto,Clottey,Williams or cintron??

I think at this level of boxing you should know what is being wrapped on your hands. Now weather or not Margarito had anything to do with the actual wrap is debateable but is it his responsability to know whats being put on his hands? Yes it is!!!
I think thats one of the reasons why he was only given a 1 year ban up to this point.
People tend to forget that it is very possiable that his trainer may have screwed up his career without him knowing anything.
People are saying Margarito knew nothing about it, but the guys been pro since he was 15. I'm sure he knows the difference between illegal and legal wrappings.
There both to blame. And why the **** is Arum even defending him?
They're both to blame, but there are differing factors as to which one you would want to blame more.
One the one hand, it's Capetillo who is doing the deed.
On the other hand, it's Margarito who's knowingly letting him do it.
They're both scum.
