let's be realistic here, Cotto threw everything including the kitchen sink at Margarito and he kept on coming. Cotto did not hurt him at all, that does something to a man mentally. I mean everyone saw the shots he hit him with, the ...k does plaster have to do with Margarito walking through his shots. I am no Margarito fan but I like his relentless pressure style. I am one who believed that after the Cotto win, he got careless and became too heavy. He probably dehydrated himself to keep the fight with Shane. Remember at one point he did not want the fight. I honestly believe after the Feb 10 ruling Marg will go back to his hungry self and punish Cotto if they fight in June. Funny how you ignore the plaster, Margarito isn't shit without his wraps and if he fights Cotto again Plasterito is going to wish he was fighting Mosley.

Why didnt he attack the body when they fought? Isnt that what he does? Why did he fire his shots then retreat? Has he ever done that in a fight before from the opening bell? It's not like his 'game plan' won him the fight.. SSM showed some grit and look where it got him. Wasnt afraid to bring the fight to the big guy.. He planted his feet and broke Margo's body. Cotto threw his combo's and jetted. It was like a bad FMJ impersonation. Only someone like Floyd could pull that strategy off. Also, why did he take knees twice in fear? He retreated to the furthest part of the ring seeking shelter putting his arms up in a defensive " no, please stop " manner. I don't know. Just don't see the second fight being any different. how body shots did Cintron or Cotto land on Margarito? How many times did they clinch or tie him up when he tried pressuring them? Its not Rocket Science Ch@mpbox, but it is the sweet science. learn it, live it..... Let me use an example: In Mike Tyson's early days, people who planned to try to mix it up with him changed their game real quick and were thinking about Mike's punches rather than punching Mike... That's what happens when you get hit by something your not expecting... Tony probably thought he was Mike Tyson with those arm punches. It took people brave enough to beat Mike.. Mosely was brave enough to punch with Marge cuz Marge no longer had that edge and Mosely figured it out.

the other two fights didnt go to the later rounds.... Different styles man. Both still lose to a laced glove.. Cotto figured different than Mosely.. Mosely found out that he could go all out without consequence againts Marge.. Cotto found out that he had to cover up and move cuz this fool hits hard.

Cintron landed bombs on Margo, the way Mosley did. Difference been that Margarito may had his plasters on, and as soon as he hited Cintron once, Cintrons face was like WTF?????? Cotto was landing pretty good and wasnt moving that, much, as soon as he got hit, he went to defense mode. In the Mosley fight, Margarito didnt had his plasters so, he didnt threw that much, because he knew his punches werent as effective without his wrap. For one plaster isnt as hard as a brick. Or else we would have houses built out of plaster..isntead it's just used for dry wall..which isnt as hard, I think....but cast's are not as hard as bricks...can you imagine breaking your arm and wearing a layer of brick on it lol Anywho..also, the NSAC cleared him for the Cotto fight, so.. I hear you.. But if Margarito had plaster it HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH COTTO's CONFIDENCE in the ring, and being confident in a fight makes the difference in 12 grueling rounds. Are you kidding?... You get hit by bricks you'd prolly switch to defensive mode real quick, get worn out faster by punches, and plus Cotto got worn out by accumulation...How can you trade with someone who has bricks in their gloves... Mosely loaded up on his punches cuz it seemed the risks of getting tagged by Margarito didn't seem too great... If Marg did have bricks and all of a sudden fought without it, It would make a difference between backin up and standing your ground, loading up or keepin defensive, it is harder to counter a brick.
