I didn't know you got the fantasty channel.
are the british the best boxing fans or is it in the british culture to overhype their fighters...
No one, no one has ever overhyped Jennings or Lockett for that matter.
The American's pre-empt this notion now.
only americans are hyping this fight if you look around, most british people think jennings doesn't stand a chance.
you daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn right
In the ads in all the newspapers(Daily News, NY Post) they fixed his eyebrows. They photoshopped that dude! Are shagcarpet unibrows cool in England? Hard to imagine that being trendy.
im glad ur all writing him off we love being the underdog but belive me on 21st feb i will be there to see mick win were not ther for a holiday were there to win he is a proud man and deservs this he is very quiet and respecable man he is no 1 in uk so why should he not have a crack at this the way u lot slag him off is disrepectfull to him and the sport yer i admit its a mountain to climb but he will give it %100 effort and do me andf chorley and england proud so instead of slating him why not support him because when he wins u will be saying how good he is and ill be back on here to gloat lol
everyone has a opion but like mick said " dont count ur chicken"
It doen't matter if he's a nice guy or not or how much you think he deserves it. He's not as good as Cotto. Nowhere near. Simple as

Willing to put REAL money on it?
I havent seen this character fight yet but i would still give him a fighters chance. But its the slimmest of chances. Cotto is going to unleash satans fury upon him.:davil2:

Michael Jennings is a sacrificial lamb. This isn't even like Marco Antonio Rubio.. It's much more one sided.
from what I can tell based on USA and British boxing media is that in America, a fighter is a nobody until they become a champion. In the UK, a fighter is treated like the second coming though unproven in the championship level (example Amir Khan, a prospect at best, is a PPV draw in the UK).
I'm not saying the UK is wrong or America is right. it is just an observation
We have a massive thing for Olympians.
You win a gold medal or a silver, that's it: your already a millionnaire.
