Hopkins, DLH, Tito, Pac, Holifield and others have a better resume.
I dont think Jones has a better resume, even tho he beat him. Jones has Hopkins and Toney, but he did duck Hopkins for the rest of his years at the top, and toney moved up weight classes, Winning agaisn't more legit heavyweights then Ruiz unlike Jones.
and i say Hopkins resume is better then Pac's right now.
Pavlik, Tito, Winky, DLH, Glen Johnson, Tarver, and if we count losses *JONES, CALZAGHE, AND TAYLOR
is better as of right now then Morales, Barrera, JMM, Diaz, and DLH. But pac could easily still be the best of this generation resume wise. if he beats Hatton, then if he could land a Cotto, Mayweather or Mosely fight and Win, he would have the best resume to me.
That would be Bernard Hopkins.Well Holyfield's is best, but since I refuse to consider him still active since he sends his old fat twin into to fight for him these days.
Then yeah Hopkins.
its sad wen oquendo kicks yo ass..and you have to prey for a split decision..fres was st8 up robbed by a bigger name fighter..toney looked terrible
Agreed. I thought ppl were over-exaggerating on here afterwards but, even as a massive Toney fan, I gotta admit there is absolutely no way he won that fight.
I finally got round to watching James' fight against Oquendo the other day. It made me pretty sad to watch it. I really like James and I wish he would just hang them up.
Michael Nunn (P4P top 3), Mike Mccalum 3 times (past best but dangerous), Reggie Johnson, Doug Dewitt, Iran Barkley, Roy Jones jr, Montell Griffin twice, Vassily Jirov, Evander Holyfield, John Ruiz, Domonic Guinn, Hasim Rahman twice and Sam Peter twice. Personally I think thats better than Evander Holyfield's.
Have you seen any of those fights?
McCallum was an old man by the 3rd fight.
Montell Griffin beat him twice.
He should of lost to Rahman 1.
He did lose to Peter twice.
He was stripped for the win over Ruiz.
There are still people out there that believe Jirov beat Toney.

sorry bro im a mayweather fan but i dont think his resume could surpass them due to the ppl he HASNT fought. now we cant really say y fights never materialised but think how his resume could hav looked
All fighters have fights they haven't fought. Toney didn't fight Jackson at Middle, any unification at Super Middle (a division where his standing is inflated when looking at who he actually beat there)...Mayweather has fought more titlists in this decade than any other fighter.
evanders resume is solid.
although alot of ppl will chat shit DLH resume is stiff
DLH has faced sick comp, and so has Evander. Hopkins comp l;evel has leaped in the last few years as well.
