I find it incredibly sad that people hate on other fighters solely because of their fan base. I understand the feeling because when Pacman fans were riding his nuts I started not to like Pacman despite his amazing skills, determination, and willingly fighting any fighter but seriously just get over it. I know some of us are less mature than other (that's obvious) but it just gets old. Hispanic/Black/White/Asian fans hating on Hispanic/Black/White/Asian fighters is just retarded to me and to alot of others as well. So what is your reason for hating a fighter so much? If it is the fans, then why is it taking you so long to grow up and realize how idiotic you sound bickering with other BS members? Or is it because of your race?? Does race determine who you root for and who you root against? I know for some people this is the case and for some its not. I am a fan of fighters of every race but, most importantly, I never let it make me forget what I am: A fan of the sport.
I understand that people need to relate to someone which spawns fans but what is your reason for being a fan? What is your reason for NOT being a fan? Is it ethnicity or the admiration of skill, determination, toughness, or fighting style that makes you a fan??
You pansys shoudn't get buthurt over fanboys ruining your enjoyment of watching an athlete, team, competiting in a sport. Newsflash, people are stupid and people watch sports. With that being said....
Pacquaio >>>>>>>>>> Fedor

Very well said, I agree 100% Only true boxing fans would not lower themselves to argue about a fighter simply because of race. With this being said, of course you should feel proud to have a great fighter that represents your ethnicity, but not to the point of being an idiot and defending (or trying to) at any cost i.e. racism... just to defend your fighter based simply on this....grow up..love the sport for what it is and quit bashing each other on race..there are have been great fighters from all walks of life not just a few countries as some make it seem...Love the sport!!
Their are fighters I like and then there are fighters I don't like but respect. For instance, I was a fan of Margarito until he started becoming arrogant and calling himself "the most feared ww on the planet." That turned me off towards him, but I still respect his relentlessness and his abilities. I like humble fighters who can respect their opponents before the fight and still beat the crap out of them once the bell rings.
As far as fans go, I try not to hold that against a fighter. Its not their fault they have male groupies who don't know the meaning of reality when it comes to their "chosen one." Like I was on this one message board and this one guy, in all seriousness, said that Pacquiao could have beaten a prime Tyson and Lennox Lewis on the same night. I mean how delusional do you have to be to make statements like that.
I can understand a fan base of a fighter making u dislike them, like in the case of JC,I mean he is a good fighter and all,but when his fans start calling him the G.O.A.T. really gets me irritated, but other than that,he deserves most of the credit he gets!!Then there's Floyd,I know he has looked superb in most of his fights, but I seriously question his compitition, him,I dislike regardless of his fans,I would change my oppinion of him in an instant,if he fought an elite welterweight, win or lose!!I am a big fan of Mickey Ward, balls like his is rare,in any sport!!
Being english im patriotic which naturally means i dislike most american fighters. Its also down to fans too like in football i hate tottenham purely cos there fans are arseholes........
I like Marg and Cotto, they lose? oh well..happens to everyone...but you cant stop being a fan of them just because they lost..true fans stay loyal to who they like whether or not they lose...however I admit that Money gives a spanking to both of them....:ugh:
