Margarito fans

I'm a margarito fan or was until this hand wrap thing gets cleared up. I'll say this Shane used a B-Hop fighting style that frustrated Margs. I felt like Margs lost the fight mentally from the 2nd round on he was complaining about Shanes headbutting. The clinching is what killed Marg, he didn't know how to combat the clinching. I just can't ingnore the hand wrap thing though! It's just totally wrong, if it was plaster, it would harden as the fight went on almost making a cast by fights end?? Has anyone ever had a cast? That $hit is hard and would be a weapon in a boxing match. I just pray and I mean pray, this isn't true.

Only real Margarito fans I've seen so far I'm a fan of the sport before I'm a fan of any fighter. That being said, Shane has also been one of my favorites because hes never backed down from any challenge, just like Tony. He took on Forrest when he didn't have to and lost. Immediately signed for the rematch and gave it all he had. Took on Winky when he didn't have to and lost, signed for the rematch and gave it his all. How can people not be a fan of someone like that? I watch to see the best take on the best, which is what these two guys do on a consistent basis. I don't care about the money, endorsements, videos or any of that other stuff. I was dead wrong. SSM by KO was the only outcome I completely ruled out. SSM is the ****in man. Nobody can discredit this shit. he wen t in there under some tough circumstances and whooped Marg start to finish. 100% agreed! I thought of all these reasons why both fighters could win... I thought if this and that Marg would win by KO and if this and that Mosley will win by decision... but then said on many threads "I don't think Mosley would knock Marg out though" and I was wrong... but happily so!

Seriously...what happened Margarito? You didn't had an answer to whatever Mosley brought. I'm dissapointed in you, you need to learn how to box and defense...just because you got the best chin in the sport is doesn't mean you can take anyone's punches. Where do you go from here now? He's always been that way. It was just that Shane wasn't intimidated and used his superior skills to embarass Marg. Never thought he would win by stoppage though.

unbelievable... i definitely admit i wasw rong on the outcome of this fight... but you know what, i love being wrong... i love the upsets and complete surprises this sport brings... bernard and mosley have blown me away... i love this sport for it Its why we love this sport reed. Conventional wisdom isn't a part of the game. and TS, I'm a Margarito fan, I'm right here. There are no excuses, because fans of the sport don't make excuses. We simply digest what happened and use that fight to guage the next one. Naz and Shane concocted a great battle plan and executed it to perfection. And no, this doesn't expose Margarito or relegate him to bum status. Hes the only welterweight to have fought the top 5 of the last few years. When you consistently take on the best of the best, time after time, you're going to lose at some point. Welcome to boxing.
