Rounds 1-2: Margarito will be trying to hunt Mosely down, but he will eat jabs and right hands for the first couple of rounds as Mosely's quicker hands and quicker feet keep him out of Margarito's reach.
Rounds 3-4: Realising that Mosely can't hurt him, Margarito will start taking a few to give a few. He will win round 3 after landing the cleaner punches. Mosely will revert back to a jab and move style, and win round 4.
Rounds 5-6: In the 5th and 6th rounds, Margarito will start working Mosely's body more effectively, and will start landing some hurtful shots with a slightly weary Mosely against the ropes. He will win both rounds.
Rounds 7,8,9,10: Mosely will do the better work in the 7th, realising that he will need to do more damage to Margarito to win the fight. However, after tiring heavily from the earlier onslaught to the body, Mosely will not be able to deal with the constant pressure of a raging Margarito. Mosely wins the 7th but drops the next three rounds.
Rounds 11-12: Mosley gives it one last hurrah in an attempt to win the fight, going toe to toe with Margarito, and throwing wild shots. He just wins a close round 11. After giving his all in the last round Mosely will have nothing left to give, and Margarito will win the last round with Mosely against the ropes, and holding for most of it.
Margarito by UD.
I hope Margarito wins beause I want a Cotto rematch but I see Mosely by UD. Mosley has much better stamina than Cotto and will keep throwing punches all day while having the ability of staying off the ropes unlike Cotto.
This will be a great fight but people execting Margarito to KO Mosley are in for a big surprise, Mosley's stamina is off the charts
.
This is what I have been thinking and I think that Mosley will also win on a UD.
I am excited about watching it soon has I wake up in the morning.

if there is a stoppage it will be around round 10 or in the championship rounds anyway.
thats a pretty good breakdown of what might happen in the fight.
i think for marg you have to consider the following factors -
1) sugar shane is not the force he once was, thats apparent in his last fight at 37 he might not have enough in the later rounds. he also had to step on the scales twice maybe hes had a problem while making weight?
2) sugar doesn't do too good against taller fighters
3) sugar is quick and powerful but his hardest shots wont faze margarito and antonio knows it.
4) if cotto couldn't go to the body i dont see sugar as being able to do it.
5) sugar can be drawn into a toe-to-toe battle which is what marg wants
for sugar shane -
1) he is tougher than cotto is but has the skills to follow the blueprint for the first 7/8 rounds that cotto used to rack up the points.
2) sugar wont be backed up so easily as cotto was, he knows how to use lateral movement and imo will try and fight in the pocket and counter marg from here.
3) brother nazim has been there and done that. hes seen fighters like marg come before (ala pavlik) and will no doubt have formulated a good strategy, having someone like nazim in his corner will help shane as well as he'll be urging him to use his boxing skills than go for the tear up
4) sugar will be more motivated than ever before, the drug scadal has tainted his career and arguably his best win. whats more sugar being the proud warrior that he is might see a win against the man who defeated cotto as redeeming him for that loss.
i think even after weighing everything up i still can't make my mind up with this fight. earlier on i was leaning toward mosly but lately im not so sure. but thats what its like when you have a genuine 50/50 fight.
i think this fight might even be an early fight of the year contender
Good points.
I can see Mosely making a quick start and taking an early lead, but I think he will eventually succumb to relentless Margarito pressure.
