Bob Papa kept saying Berto got "dropped"

Berto was caught off balence the ropes kept him up but it was a case of his feet geting tangled up.

Yeah it was SUPER annoying especially since he said it the whole broadcast. I was even starting to question myself did Berto get dropped in the 1st cuz Papa said it like 15x's

Yes, some refs would have counted that as a knockdown, you are right. But in this fight the ref did not, so Berto did not automatically lose a point. He later rallied in the round and arguably won it. Between Papa saying that Berto was dropped in the first and Lederman's card, it made me and maybe other HBO viewers believe that Berto clearly lost the fight, when in reality it was MUCH closer. Yea, that's true. It could have been called a KD, but wasn't..so, like you said, they shouldn't have refered to it as such.

The crew did nothing for the fight last night. Lampley and Steward would've been going CRAZY in the 12th round......Manny might've had a heartattack lol.....

Papa was seeing shit. the ref could've ruled it a knockdown, but he didn't. doesnt matter how many times Papa said it happened. somebody should've informed him during the telecast

I like Papas, but I was wondering why he was saying that too. He should have said Collazo hurt Berto and got him off balance. Not knocked down.
