has been bumped up to one of my top ten favorite fighters. Not only because of his valiant fights against Jose Antonio Rivera and Ricky Hatton. Not only because of his "win" against Berto last night. But also because of his humble nature. Last night he could have had a fit and did the whole crying bit about how unfair it was. He just calmly said it was a really good fight and looked forward to a rematch. I mean for the love of God the man delivers bread to hospitals to make money. Truly he had to have caught the admiration of many.
Plus he rep Brooklyn......yess sir!!
Just my two cents
Collazo better get a damn rematch, not only was he robbed because of HBO trying to hype up Berto like the next big thing but he clearly DOMINATED the fight as a whole, lost a few rounds but he won most with his bodyword and inside work, whoever doesn't acknoledge that is a biased cunt.
I don't like Berto, I was rooting for Luis, but scored the fight for Berto..
it just sucks against hatton he didn't get the decision.
hbo just signed hatton to a 3 year fight deal,
now berto was being called the next big thing, and he didn't get the nod either.
he was definately the better fighter. he is definately entertaining, hope the rematch gets done, or a nother big fight somewhere else.
After he blew his chance against SSM, I wrote Luis off. He showed last nite that he's game tho. I wanna see him get anotha shot. He's definitely a good fighter.
Terrific fight last night. And I'm with you 100%..Collazo just moved way up. And yes..that was his fight last night and he handled it with class.
And I think that Berto looked less impressive then his preceding reputation. Either he had a bad night, or he needs to work on his mid section. It looked like in the early/mid rounds, that Collazo was taking all the wind out of him with what seemed to me to be not the heaviest of body shots.
