Hatton fought Collazo (who was a WW champion at the time) on short notice as his first fight moving up in weight. The fight was close and Collazo hurt Hatton in 2 rounds but Hatton still won 6 or 7 rounds and scored a knockdown, so it wasn't a "robbery" in any way, shape or form! Collazo did better than most expected against Hatton which is why some argue/think he won. Most posters who claim this are extremely biased trolls.
The Berto fight confirms that Collazo isn't a "bum" that people here were saying he was when Hatton beat him.
FTR, a fight that can be scored a draw or 1-2 points either way, can not be a robbery, it's just a close fight and in any close fights biased people (like Kellerman) will claim their boy got "ripped off"...
good post. Plus i think hatton's team managed his weight wrong. He was looking kinda chunky against Luis. He should of done what he did for Mayweather. Come in a couple pounds under 147.
What who says that fight was a robbery. I scored like I did tonight 6 rds apeice. Collazo was on his ass the first RD, And that is what sealed for Hatton.
That's how I had it. That spaz Kellerman was spouting off how "most people thought Collazo was robbed against Hatton" or something to that affect.
I think most people thought Collazo was a borderline top 10 WW with little to no power. The Berto did a bit to change some of those opinions, though I guess Berto's chin and defense aren't exactly legendary. Collazo fought his a$$ off though and gained some fans for sure. Dropping his hands in the 7th against someone with quick hands and decent pop like Andre showed the kid has skills.

Well put, plus Berto is a natural WW, while Hatton is a natural JW. The Kd in the 1st RD did it for Hatton.

Collazo beat berto just like he beat hatton. He has really bad luck
idiots that had ricky winning deny the knockdown they didnt count
i know that was a clear knockdown in the 12th round. collazo unloaded a combination on hattons exposed face and as he was falling down tried to grab onto collazo but failed and hit the canvas.
no but it makes shane mosleys domination of collazo a hell of alot better
collazo went into defensive shell mode in the 3rd round cause he broke his hand. that fight made mosley look like an illusion of a great fighter.
No
1. He lost again
2. Berto isnt yet near Hatton's level P4P, so a guy he barely beat barely losing to a guy who isnt yet at the level of Hatton doesnt equate to alot.
Thats ture, But Most people thought Collazo won the fight against Berto, while the fight against Hatton was close too it seems like most thought Hatton won by looking at the polls.

yeah i think so ..i think after the knockdown in the 1st ten secs hatton go a lil 1 anxious and it ruined the fight for him id take ricky in a rematch collazos real tough thow
Some people even think Hatton was gifted a decision against Collazo..........

It doesnt change anything for me because Im one of the few who always felt like Hatton never got enough credit for that fight. People act like Hatton sucks for not destroying Collazo. Collazo is a beast and now people are finaly seeing it
