The first round I don't think you could give to Collazo, he landed 1 good left but that was about it. Berto had him on the ropes at the end...an even round or maybe even Berto's. A few others I can't remember was the same, really look at the 12th round Collazo was ready to go....the dude was getting hit with clean effective shots and I didn't see the same thing for Berto....Collazo was pitty patting a lot
I agree, I do not believe that the first round clearly went to Collazo. That was a swing round, could of went either way.
However, its hard to imagine that Berto won the fight with the point deduction, but thats why i'm watching it again. I do not think it was a robbery, but my first impression was that Collazo won the fight.
My point is there were many of those swing rounds....and judges tend to compensate for wrongful, or at least controversial point deductions.
He landed some really good combinations and hurt Berto. Berto worked his way back in it, but Collazo landed some good shots at the end there and plus he hurt Berto.
Why was that a stupid thing to say MikeBrew? You quoted me? Why??? I don't know if 720p existed back in 2006 because I'm not rich and I don't own alot of great technology and I haven't ever seen a 720p copy of Calzaghe/Lacy around anywheres. ****ing jack ass.
lol..............

Collazo nearly always got the better of the exchanges on the inside. Berto missed many of his shots on the outside and had no jab. Even if Collazo was pitty patting he was scoring with his shoeshines and combos to the body of Berto.
Off of one punch? He got hurt and got put on the ropes and Berto was puttin it on him at the end

ok..... I don't know... I really want an 720p copy of it, I doubt it exists though because I don't think it was filmed in 720p. Some fights are and some fights aren't.

I thought it was comical. Not a stupid thing to say at all. I saw it in a sarcastic light.

Collazo clearly won the 1st round. Just like Collazo was hurt in the 12th, Berto was hurt several times throughout the fight.

Giving Collazo the 7th round was disgraceful. I challenge anyone to watch that round and explain how Ledderman could have given it to Collazo.
