I thought this would be a staple for the Countdown show, Mosley trying to prove a point, and Margarito, coming off his career best win, attempting to solidify his status as the best Welterweight. So there has to be a countdown, doesn't there? Others are saying that there wont be one because its not HBO PPV, but if theyre going to start putting less fights on PPV and having bigger fights on free tv, theyre gonna have to drop that rule eventually arent they?
when do they usually air countdowns? the saturday before right?
I don't want anything of Margarito until the dude learns English. Thank you very much. The man must not be a big fan of money...You usually try to do everything you can to build yourself in the country you fight in, like Cotto and Pacquiao, Margarito should learn the language.
The only "Countdown" that could suck possibly as bad as this one, with Shane playing the eternal role of nice guy, and Tony grooming his mullet, would be any "Countdown" involving Billy Dib.
Maybe HBO can get some exclusive behind the scenes on Mosley's steroid use.
And shoot some scenes on how Margarito maintains that power mullet.
Riveting stuff.
Countdowns cost MONEY honey. HBO has already done more than enough for a non PPV fight. Forked over extra cash to satisfy Margarito. So no countdown sweet cheeks.
Exactly. It would be a boring ass countdown anyway.
