How will Cotto fight Jennings?

First of all is this dude any good? What type of fighter is he? You guys who predict an easy win for Cotto have you guys seen Jennings fight before? He's rated number 1 in Brittain and he only has one loss which was a close and disputed points loss. He has a nice jab and move style with a tidy defence but not much power, Cotto has advantages in every area, Gio Jennings just aint on his level. Ive seen most of Micheals fights and he is good at his domestic level but this is something else all together! Sound guy but he gonna catch a beating, body shots doin most of the damage. Cotto will taste a few jabs before getting Jennings outta there no earlier than the 5th and no later than the 9th

No reason not just bulldoze the guy that I've heard. Never sen Jennings so I ain't sure. I ain't read anything about the guy bein a strong puncher, so even after a KO loss I doubt Cotto will be gunshy. He'll probably fight his normal go forward pressure style.

Agreed, none of these cats have seen Jennings fight ive said the same as you a few times now lol Cotto will win by stoppage around the half way mark Ive seen him on youtube and he will get sparked, bad . Seems like a good guy too bad but at least he has an opportunity and a good payday.

How many people here have actually seen Jennings fight? I'm just wondering, cause everyone is making a prediction, but I bet most here will not have seen him fight. I have, and i'd say it will be similar to the Gomez fight probably, but it may last a few rounds longer as I doubt Jennings will stand and trade with Cotto..

He will definitely struggle. THis fight is going to be like when Vargas took on a tuneup in Rivera. He was knocked down. Although he went on to win he looked like shit. The same will happen here except Jennings is going to finish the job and finish the heartless Cotto. YOU ARE SUCH A HATER!!! It's absolutely ridiculous. I don't think Cotto should do anything different than he did against Toni. I've watched that a million times and Cotto just did everything right! I don't know of a thing he could have done better to win that fight, and neither does Cotto. He said that Toni was just the better man that night. I've heard people say that Cotto can't punch on the move and now that I go back I can see that he really does need to be planted to throw a punch, which made him a sitting duck for Toni. Anyways, Cotto should go into this fight with the exact same game plan... to be flawless. I thought Cotto did really well up to about the 5th round. He was frustrating Margarito, and landing some great shots. Tony just kept on coming though, and eventually broke Cotto down.

Agree-- Cotto will bring the pain and drum on Jennings-- who will be overmatched. I'd say Round 5 or under. A good tune up to get back in the game, but won't show much else. My question: if Margarito/Pac man happens, where does that leave Cotto for his next fight? Williams? Pac vs Marg ain't happening. Marg already said he wont go down to 143 and Freddie knows Marg is just too strong. Marg vs Cotto II is pretty much cemented Pac has Hatton and inevitably Floyd. Cotto is the only other fight I think would make sense as far as size for Pac (though I think Cotto may be too strong as well)

I think he will beat Jennings slowly like he did Gomez. You contribute shit to this forum. Yup. Cotto's not the type of fighter that finishes guys off quickly. It'll go like 5-7 rounds. It actually might go longer because I highly doubt Jennings will stand and trade like Gomez did. I would predict a TKO in 9. Which would be good, he could use some rounds.

Cotto is gonna fight Jennings the way he feels like, no way i see Jennings setting the pace on this one, i may be wrong but i doubt it
