Betweens Floyd Mayweather Jr's win over Arturo Gatti, or Manny Pacquiao's win over Oscar De La Hoya?
I'll go first with saying that I can't really pick one right out because both where total one sided victories for Pac & Floyd. You can consider several things to maybe find an answer such as which was the better comp (Gatti or Hoya) to thinking on who you believe dealt out the most damage (between Floyd or Manny).
Anyways like I said before I can't really flat out pick one, so I was wondering what everyone else's opinion was on the matter.
Thanks in advance for the replies!
Yeah man, watching the video just reinforced what I was talking about that ish was brutal and that wasn't even the only round like that.
No doubt Gatti got took to school,....or rather detention :D
I see your point, I think people tend to forget just how much pop PBF has at the lower weights, even in JWW.
Well humiliation could be a deciding factor I guess. :D

The nastier beatdown is Mayweather-Gatti hands down. Gatti was getting hit so clean and it wasn't just single shots it was in combination cleanpunch after clean punch. De La Hoya being bigger than Manny has nothing to do with how nasty the beatdown was except added humiliation.

Not talking about actual rounds but rather sustained punishement. Oscar's was in increments, with flows and ebbs, whereas Gatti got hit constantly is what I mean.
Ah Indeed, indeed. Sorry for asking but it appeared as if you was referring to rounds for a sec, and I knew better :) .

The gatti beatdown was the worst I've seen. Then I saw him get even more ****ed up by Baldomir and I thought that was worse. Then I saw the beatdown he took in the hands of Alfonso Gomez, and I thought that was even worse.
Lol yea, poor Gatti.
Yea there are several things you can consider like Hoya being bigger and still getting whooped by the smaller guy.Gatti getting out of the fight in 6, where Hoya lasted 2 more. I thought it was a somewhat interesting thing to sit down and think about.

Call it either way; Gatti musta gotten it worse cuz he was taken out in 6, or DLH got it worse since he endured 2 more rds of punishment than Gatti did before he was stopped. I'd say overall DLH got it worse, since he got his against a midget who he was supposed to decapitate.
Manny killing Oscar was the better beatdown.
Both losers were faded, and in both fights you had a size advantage. However, Manny was REALISTICALLY the smaller guy, regardless of weight. Oscar is a bigger person in life. Walks around heavier, taller, bigger overall build.
Not to mention that he made his OPPONENT give up, not his corner.
