Mikkel Kessler vs Glenn Johnson

I'd give Kessler all kinds of credit for taking this fight. Which is what makes me think it won't happen.

I wouldn't fancy Taylor's chances against Glen Johnson, not with amount of pressure Johnson puts on and Taylor's bad stamina. I agree, I think Johnson would beat Taylor as well, I don't think Taylor would be able to keep up. That would be a good one too. :fing02: There's LOTS of good matchups that can be made at 168-175. Definitely, a lot of great fights can be made there.

Good opponent. Hell, great opponent. Kessler takes this all day of course, but it'd be damn competitive and damn good to watch.

lol kessler won't fight glen johnson you nuts. he will pretend he wants to then turn around and fight the 700th ranked supermiddle in the world. Juan Carlos Guerrero from Argentina, age 44 and a pro record of 1-8-0 all 8 defeats by way of KO. I have a hard time believing he will be Kesslers next opponent.

Not sure if he can make 168lb though, he has weighed 172lb or more since 2001 and weighed 178lb for his last fight,

I won't believe this fight happens until both men are starring each other down at a press conference. It would be a great action fight, but im skeptical it goes off.

Oh my god if this is true i may have a hard on from this saturday till the end of the year. The fights that are happening are crazy. But i shouldn't get my hopes up

Danish media reports that team Palle is positive towards a request from Glenn Johnson regarding a clash with Mikkel Kessler in the US at catchweight 170 pounds.
