I Believe that Calzaghe doesn't want to Fight Hopkins again because the first fight was a Fluke with the damn judges. Who the hell has Calzaghe ever fought. Well Hopkins has already beat the best. So why would he Duck Dawson? Hopkins is going to retire now, probably possibly having one more bout. If he goes after Chad Dawson, he may as well stay and take on other prospects and champions, but what is the point, the guy is 43... The only thing that makes sense, which is what he wants, is a another bout with Joe (who is running), RJJ (who has been running for 15+ years), and Taylor Bernard has never been one to "only take fights he can win". His legacy is set in stone and he doesn't fear a loss. He definately isn't afraid of Dawson. Calzaghe isn't running though. Hopkins only wants to fight white fighters, he went after Pavlik and now he wants Adamek at cruiserweight or a Calzaghe rematch. at this stage in hopkins career dawson probably beats hopkins. we all admit it ok. is it so bad that at 43 year old not fight someone as young, fresh and strong like dawson? I think hopkins deserves a break.
