Well if you sign this there might be

I'm trying to drum up enough interest and then approach relevant stations.
Many thanks
There already is a channel. The Fight Network. They are available in Canada and a few select US markets.
I don't get these petitions. Who exactly is going to pump millions of dollars into this channel to create it? Who is going to rent the large offices, hire the employees and whatnot?
The petition would need millions of signatures and it still wouldn't mean shit because someone would still have to invest millions of dollars to make such a channel. Then the copyrights to the videos would become a major issue. Showtime has a deal with ESPN. HBO doesn't give up their video to anyone. It's way too big of a mess.
In the end it's subscribers cancelling their cable service that sends a message.
There doesn't have to be a petition for anything. All there has to be is a company or a branch of people who are willing to invest the necessary millions of dollars to create the channel and then cut a deal with the cable networks to carry it.
This was spoken about on Steve Bunce's boxing hour today, this exact petition.
He said it's do-able, as they have them for other sports, and viewers could have their own little bit on it but the petition needs more people

I'm #92. Seriously, there's a Tennis Channel, a Golf Channel, a Soccer Channel, why not a boxing channel?
By the way, everyone sign the petition, it takes like 30 seconds.
