I mean he is but.. Why did he retire honestly the 2nd-3rd biggest paydays of his life are out there right now, instead he let Margarito (cotto) and Moesly (margarito) steal them away.. He chose to fight an old ODLH and no one else in the grime of whos reALLY BETTER TERRIOTORY .. JLC was good 10 years ago Corrales too (RIP) but Hatton an ODLH dont cut it when you got.. Margarito,Cotto, Williams, Mosely, Berto, Hatton, Pac... All with the crowns you had and are still capable of having SUPPOSEDLY, why dont you man up and fight for whats suppose to be yours! LOL im a Floyd fan but this drink and blunt got me thinking!
Why is Horus cut/pasting the same shit over and over..
If people don't agree the first time they aren't going to change their minds because you spam the same thing over and over...
Yeh thats what i'm thinking...
Why is Horus cut/pasting the same shit over and over..
If people don't agree the first time they aren't going to change their minds because you spam the same thing over and over...
There are many boxers in history who have beaten better boxers than PBF, so he isnt an high echelon ATG.
His best win is over Hatton, and you cant be the best on the strenght of that win. I dont even consider his fight over DLH a win. It was barely a win at the end of the day. People did better than that against DLH when DLH was in his prime.
PBF needs PAC, Marge and cotton on his resume to strengthen his case.
Do u understand what I am trying to tell you..?
To the Floyd critic's/Haters who say Floyd career at Welterweight was the worst ever.and isnt and wasnt better than Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Clottey, etc.
Then Why would someone fight floyd at welterweight if he was a mediocre Welterweight according to some of you guys...??
Why not Fight a career welterweight like Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Clottey, etc.
According to the logic.
a win over Williams should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
a win over Cotto should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
a win over Margarito should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
a win over Mosely should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
a win over Clottey should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
Because they are all career welterweights and resumes more impressive then
Floyds at Welterweight.
Why not fight Floyd at 135? <<< he was the man in this division
Why not fight Floyd at 130? <<< he was the man in this division
Why not fight Floyd at 140? <<< he was ducked in this division
Why fight Floyd at welterweight if he was no good there???
Margarito walks around at 180+ pounds and he fights at Welterweight
Cotto walks around at 160+ pounds and he fights at Welterweight
Clottey walks around at 180+ pounds and he fights at Welterweight
Williams walks around at 170+ pounds and he fights at Welterweight
Hatton walks around at 180+ pounds and he fights at Jr. Welterweight
Floyd walks around at 150, and your telling me he cant fight at 130,135,, or 140.....
If Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Clottey, and Hatton can walk around at 20-40 pounds above there fighting weight and still fight at their divisions...
I think Floyd can do the same....
Do you think Floyd is the only fighter who cant lose weight to fight in a division he wants to fight in....???????
I get it now. The answer to your question is simple. Floyd's WW fights were all suspect at best. So, if Margarito/Williams/ClotteyCotto beat Floyd at WW, its not that impressive. they SHOULD beat him. trouble is... he and many fans concede those victories to Floyd. I remember the words about Margarito and how he'd be "easy work." Always easire said than done. My belief is, if it was "easy work," then he would have fought him. Thats what makes Mayweather and his fans so frustrating. He acts like a protected child talking shit from behind a thick glass.
I understand that everybody is enamored with may's skill set and all. At some point skill just cant overcome size. And I think that at least 3 of the big 4 WW's are too big for Floyd. i think he realizes that too. Cotto is not too big and it could have been a pretty good fight. I think the Cotto that fought Margarito KO's Floyd Mayweather at 147. But who cares anyway that wouldnt be impressive now would it???
Hold up. Berto's WW resume is more impressive than Floyd's? No one's fighting Floyd at 130 or 135 because he couldn't make either of those weights without cutting off an arm. 140 at this stage is iffy, esp after more than a year layoff.
Do u understand what I am trying to tell you..?

I wouldn't call Collazo a champion at WW, he SDd a paper champ in his first defense. Of course a Hatton win for Floyd means something at WW, just not as much as you think it does.
Do u understand what I am trying to tell you..?
The logic is If Floyd wasn't a impressive welterweight champion because he never fought any good welterweights....
What does a Floyd win at welterweight mean if he wasnt impressive at welterweight???
Then a win over Williams should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
Then a win over Cotto should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
Then a win over Margarito should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
Then a win over Mosely should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.

Why not fight Clottey?
You see their logic?
It would be like Pavlik going to 175 to fight FOR A LHW belt... But Not Fight the man Dawson, but somebody else...
I wouldn't call Collazo a champion at WW, he SDd a paper champ in his first defense. Of course a Hatton win for Floyd means something at WW, just not as much as you think it does.
So what Horus is saying is that a Hatton win over Pac means nothing, since Pac has never fought at 140 before.
I am not saying that but that is the logic people used when they want to discredit floyd for beating Hatton...
They say Ricky Hatton Wasnt Impressive at Welterweight, so floyds over hatton isnt that good because he fought Hatton at welterweight.
But Ricky Hatton was a WBA welter Weight Champion am I wrong???
I didnt know you had to look impressive in winning a championship belt in order to be taken seriously as a champion...
I thought if you beat the champion for his belt then you are a champion???
By that Standard how many champions can we say are not real champions because they didnt look impressive when they won their belts???
They say Ricky Hatton is a Junior Welterweight because he fought most of his career there...
But Floyd has had 39 Fights in which 31 fights were at 135 and under.
Only 8 Fights were at 140 and up.
Ricky Hatton had more fights at 140 AND UP then Floyd did...
Both Floyd and Ricky Hatton were Welter Weight Champions.
Floyd started at 130
Ricky Started at 140
According to them Floyd and Ricky Hatton never fought any good welterweight champions.
So that leads to the Conclusion that Floyd's Run at Welterweight just like Ricky Hatton's wasnt impressive....Because they never fought anybody....
So If Floyd wasnt a impressive welterweight champion because he never fought any good welterweights....
What does a Floyd win at welterweight mean if he wasnt impressive at welterweight???
Then a win over Williams should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
Then a win over Cotto should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.

You see their logic?
So what Horus is saying is that a Hatton win over Pac means nothing, since Pac has never fought at 140 before. And of course a Klitschko (either) win over David Haye means nothing, since David hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse at HW.
Floyd will go down as one of the worst welterweight champions ever.
Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Clottey>>>>>>Floyd.
If Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Clottey>>>>>>Floyd All had better careers at Welterweight than Floyd...
And Floyd wasnt impressive at Welterweight...!!
What does a win over a fighter who wasnt impressive at Welterweight Means?
Does it mean you beat a mediocre Welterweight?
Does it mean you beat a fighter who didnt belong at Welterweight because most of his career was at 135 and under?
Does it mean you beat a fighter who never was impreesive at Welterweight anyways?
What does a Floyd win at welterweight mean for a fighter like (Margarito,Cotto,Mosely,Berto,Clottey) if Floyd wasnt impressive at welterweight???
If Cotto,Mosely,Berto,Margarito,Williams,Clottey are the real big dogs and the real impressive ones at the weight...
Then a win over Williams should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
Then a win over Cotto should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
Then a win over Margarito should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
Then a win over Mosely should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
Then a win over Clottey should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
Then a win over Berti should be more impressive than a win over Floyd.
Because they are all career welterweights and resumes more impressive then
Floyds at Welterweight.
So my question is What does a Floyd win at welterweight mean for a fighter like (Margarito,Cotto,Mosely,Berto,Clottey) if Floyd wasnt impressive at welterweight???
You are Not understanding my question....
If Floyd just Like Ricky Hatton wasnt a impressive welterweight champion because he never fought any good welterweights in your words...
Just like you say Ricky Hatton wasnt a good win for Floyd because he wasnt fighting Floyd at his best weight which is 140. Well since Floyd also
wasnt a impressive welterweight champion because he didnt look impressive At the weight and didnt fight nobody.
What does a Floyd win at welterweight mean for a fighter like (Margarito,Cotto,Mosely,Berto,Clottey) if he wasnt impressive at welterweight???

Wouldnt a win against a fighter like Margarito who been at WW his whole career be more impressive then a Win over Floyd...
In your eyes...
Since Margarito has been impressive at ww, and been there his whole career?????????
That question make zero sense... You try to explain it a little better, but then it still makes zero sense.
Against the proper opponents, it means alot.
Against lower tier opposition, it means schit.
Don't forget, we're talking All Time status here.
Its not like the opposition isn't there for Floyd to prove himself.
So, why are you so against it?
LOL, I'm trying to help give Floyd some credit here, because in terms of all time greatness, its dependant on who you fought.
The opportunities are there Floyd.
Be an all time great, DO IT!

Floyd will go down as one of the worst welterweight champions ever.
He had an incredible class of fighters to prove his point as being the greatest ever too.
Too bad he didn't have the huevos to try it.
LMAO at his stans.
Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Clottey>>>>>>Floyd.

It means Floyd didn't defend against the career welters, just the one timer, one time.
Hes a pussy, deal with it.
