Good line-up on HBO on Valentines day!
Who wins and will the winners fight each other?
Sergio Martinez vs Daniel Santos
Alfredo Angulo vs Ricardo Mayorga
that is also true, im just glad sergio is fighting santos over greene
Who the hell is Greene, I don't even know who that is and I'm glad Sergio is not fighting him.
the bunema fight was one hell of a performance though
it was indeed a good performance ,but santos is a veteran and he looks serious on his career more than when he was in his prime years.
Martinez vs Santos is very intriguing. Santos is better skilled and more powerfull and Martinez is faster with a better jab.I think Martinez jab is the best in boxing right know. But I will go with my men Santos, He is one of the most underrated champs All Time. I say Santos TKO Martinez 11. And in the Angulo vs Mayorga fight, first I have to give all the credit in the world for taking on Mayorga at this stage. People dont realize how big of a risk this fight is for Angulo. Any ways I like Angulo he is a very exciting fighter, but I will go with Mayo pulling the upset. he is very awkward, powerful and have the experience on his side, plus the fact that Angulo is not and Elusive Target. I got Mayorga KO10.
We'll see just how good a chin Angulo has. He'll take some of Ricardo's shots; Angulo ain't no defensive wizard. If he can take Mayorga's shots, he stops him in about 8 IMO. Santos KO's Martinez in shocking fashion. Can anyone say Mexico vs Puerto Rico!
JMW is a very under-rated division indeed. Considering you can add Williams, Forrest, Vanes, maybe even Mosley, to the mix, in addition to all the above names. Some good match-ups to me made, and are finally BEING made.
I got Angulo beating Mayorga, and Martinez edging Santos.
Martinez vs Angulo. What a fight:boxing:
I like Santos against Martinez; he's got power and he's actually sitting down on his punches more at this point in his career. I think he's gonna catch Sergio with something big.
We'll see how well he can do against Daniel. Is Sergio a southpaw?
Yeah, Santos and Sergio are both southpaws, and two of the most highly skilled fighters in the division.
It would have been even better if they made an 8-man tourney on the same night
Santos vs. Martinez
Angulo vs. Mayorga
Duddy vs. Julio
Greene vs Kirkland
I can't believe Santos is up by so much on Martinez. Maybe people haven't seen much of Martinez, I think he's going to rule 154 as long as PWill stays out of his way.

I think Angulo smashes Mayorga. Martinez beats Santos in a pretty good fight.
Angulo-Martinez has a nice ring to it. The winner fights you know who....:boxing:
If Angulo beats Mayorga, do you think he can tangle with the likes of Martinez or Santos?
yeah of course,i mean i respect the guy because he has had some stiff competition since his 12th fight and stepping up like that talks highly about angulo.
Now I respect Angulo more than ever, he doesn't seem to be the kind of guy that wait for "the right time". That division is full of fighters that seem they don't want to fight each other and that could change with fighters like Angulo. Angulo/Santos is next.
That should be damn good. We'll see if Angulo is ready by the way he looks against Ricardo. The "Perro's" only had 14 fights, I believe.
