But I can't say anything until it's official tomorrow. Look for my official report in tomorrow's news.
This should answer a lot of questions about Victor Ortiz's ability.
since I've seen Ricardo Torres name appear in this thread several times
any news on him?
he pulled out of the 3rd Holt fight due to being unable to make weight/sickness
any idea when Ricardo will fight again?

Its been 4 days now and still nothing. I don't get it. Even if the deal isn't yet finalized, you should still tell us. I don't think anyone will hold it against you if you just come back and say "the deal hasn't been finalized yet". you atleast owe us that much after making this thread.
Ortiz should knock Harris out, Harris was almost knocked out in his last fight and should have gotten knocked out had the referee not given him a long count, it's a good name to have on his resume but not really a test of his skills IMO.
this should be a good fight for ortiz....i was kinda hoping that it would be torres but as long as the kid stays active, its all good....
Not to be an ass, but I have to disagree 100%. Ortiz could be a star. They need to start really challenging him. It was one thing to protect him a little when they weren't sure if he could handle a step up, but eyes are on him now to take on the mantle. An easy win over Harris doesn't tell us anything we didn't already know about Ortiz.
He absolutely needs to fight someone at about Torres' level right now. Look even Don King got Junior Witter for Devon Alexander and King hasn't done much of anything for Alexander. Golden Boy needs to move Ortiz and match him tough. He can take it.
Yeah it's Harris, but it's still a pretty good match up. He could KO Harris in the first round seeing as how he did Mausa in that way, but I think it'll be a nice scrap.
Harris is clearly on the downslide. I'd pick Ortiz to take him out in less than 5 rounds.

I KNOW guys.
It is Vivan Harris, a decent former pro, with a good name. Chinny as **** aswell.
BUT, don't forget he was dropped twice in the 1st round against a guy who was 7-4-1 in October last year.
It is a "step-up" for Ortiz though.
GBP are taking this fight based on Harris' chin, they better hope it breaks lol
that jeremy resto fight ****ing sucked! that whole undercard i still feel ripped off i want my ****ing money back real talk. until they start putting on competitive undercards ill never by another dlh ppv. thats real talk too!
It's March 14 and the guy hasn't received the contract yet. He said he was supposed to on Friday, I'll talk to him on Monday and find out the story.
You mean March 7th? They're putting that fight on the undercard to Dawson Tarver II? That makes Dawson Tarver II a little better if true.
Though what happened to the double header with BAD for March 7?
