It terms of difficulty and level of competition for example.
Out of 39 of Floyds opposition Ricky ranks about 4th compared to the other fighters, ranking DLH, Jose Luis Castillo ect... above him.
as far as their resume goes, Hatton would be about 5th. As far as the difficulty he caused Mayweather I'd say about 3. Castillo gave Mayweather hell and Oscar had him on a split so I put Ricky 3rd. I don't care how it ended, Ricky made FLoyd look absolutely awkward through 6 rounds. Floyd didn't look like a scientific boxer by any means.
3rd behind hernandez and corrales. I edge him over Castillo because no one really thought Castillo could win anyway.
as far as skillwise...he like 7th behind Corrales, both Hernadez, castillo, judah, and oscar
The mere fact you guys rank Judah and Castillo ahead of hatton shows that none of you even watch anyother boxing match's outdside of PBF fights.
Hatton is the one and only boxer that can be mentioned as a legitamate threat on PBF's resume.
so you were expecting floyd to loose against hatton??
who has been the major threat to floyd in your opinion?....
in no way im saying that judah or castillo are bigger names than hatton...
all im saying is by the time they fought mayweather... they did represent more of a threat for him than ...hatton.
hope u guys got me. :boxing:
I would rank him second, right behind Castillo. He is more formidable than everyone else on floyds resume.
I was just about to say the same thing. Hatton was a big win for Mayweather.

1 - judah
2 - castillo
3 - dlh
4 - hatton
5 - corrales
How i Judah his best win? He lost the fight prior and next one lost 3 in a row.
---------
not his best.
But for me... it was the most close to his prime and competitive fight for floyd. Even that he was comming to a loss to baldomir.
there were ppl actually looking for floyd to loose in this fight... that wasnt the case for the rest of his fight when everybody knew he was going to win easly.
HEY naps ->which one do you consider his best win? in terms of competition.
please let us know.
ohhh....
so for you is hatton's???
just wondering... thats his highest accomplishment in terms of competition? is that it?? please let me know..
im curious...

Probably 3rd... behind corrales and castillo. I think Hatton is underrated at this point. Also, you have to factor other things... like weight and stage of career.
whitch is why i think hatton should be above chico. chico was weight drained and had huge personal issues going into the fight including knowing he was going to jail
So how many fighters did Calzaghe openly avoid? how many fighters were left at 168 that Calzaghe didnt fight?
Not really comparable when Floyd didnt fight Cotto or Margarito and ducked 2 whole divisions.
What two whole divisions did he duck?
