Margarito vs Mosley

margarito is too much I think

shane wins, margarito is the most overrated fighter today. slow slow slow.

i have to question anyones knowledge when they pick shane. :nonono: I guess the casino's and sport books that have mosley 5-1-3-1 underdogs must no nothing lol. Poor shane if there was ever a time he's getting stopped its going to be jan. 24th. Bad, Bad match up for shane! Just bad!!!!

If Paul Williams was able to beat Margarito's ass. You better believe even an older version of Mosley will come to win... Also, it would do wonders to his legacy to beat a fighter like Margarito. yeah because williams and mosley are indentical :rofl: now i remember why I don't post in NSB anymore. i think one thing iv overlooked is magarito in this fight. he does have a tendency to start slowly, against cotto he got away with it. he wont always be that lucky, the fight with paul williams showed that when he is against a solid fighter with a solid chin then he doesn't core the KD's and he suffers from his slow start. you could argue that he has chnaged recently but the fight with cotto proves that he hasn't really. imo if he starts slowly i wouldn't be surprised to see mosley take the W.

Margarito decision. Noone will ever knock out Mosley but from rounds 5-12 Margarito will really put the pressure on him. not even Forrest?

You know I originally thought Margarito would win this easy but something tells me Shane's going to pull off a signature win. Imagine if he blasts Margarito with a hook like he drilled Mayorga or Vargas with? I don't care if Marg's chin is made of steel, no one survives a shot like that. Margarito takes a comfortable decision. In his prime Mosley probably would have gotten the decision, but Mosley is 37 years old now and pretty shopworn. Margarito is too big, too strong and too much of a grinder for a man Mosley's age. I dont see Shane getting stopped, though, as Shane never gets stopped and hasnt really come close.

Mosely may stun margarito once or twice in the fight...but after that its all down hill for sugar shane... once Marg adapts to Mosely's punches, he's gona need a prayer to keep up from the workrate.. but then again Mosely is getting tips from B-Hop...he's gona have a few tricks under his sleeves..

I think Margarito decisions Mosley. It's just his time. He's fresher and his volume will take him throught the fight. I want Mosley to win and if he boxes Margarito he has a good chance but based off his last showing with Mayorga, I think Margarito takes it.

He knows now to start earlier and apply pressure more frequently.

As much as Mosley is the man,he may be to old to tangle with Margarito,props for banging!!Hope he dosnt get KOd,but u can count on Mosley going out on his shield!!

this is great fight really even and has the potenital to go either way. sugar has the style to beat marg, he has the speed and accuracy to rack up the points early on and has the chin and stamina to be evasive and elusive later in the fight. he might however start slugging knowing shane, that would spell trouble for him on the scorecards and in terms of potential KO. marg has a great chance as well, sugar might well be slightly faded, he didn't look all that good last time aroun. he'll be confident that he can lure shane into a slugfest and score a late KO/TKO. shane has a solid chin but marg is a decent body puncher and could well hurt sugar and the body punches might tell late on in the fight.
