He was never the same after the Coralles fight. Both fighters were never the same. Too bad, cuz Castillo was a gangsta in the ring. I'd pay 55 bones any day of the week to see him during his prime.

I don't think Castillo will fight again. He struggled making weight and took a beating against a mediocre opponent. He won't get enough money for small fights to make him put his body through it again. Atleast I hope so.

I know he fought his last fight in the summer and lost, but I can't remember if he retired or not. Anyone know? He hasn't announced it yet, but there is really nothing left for him except small checks as a name opponent for young prospects. I can't imagine him fighting on TV again.
