Give Credit to fighters you dislike. Try being honest with yourself and put aside all the dislike and BS for certain fighters you dislike and complement them for a change. Okay i will start.
Calzaghe a very good chin, high workrate,Southpaw style, speed, good Balance and Boxing skills means he would of been a handful for any GREAT!! fighter around the 168 lbs -175lbs division in any era. For a Pro fighter to have had 46 good days at the office is impressive no matter who you are fighting. Especially when you consider all the things that can go wrong, when in preparation for a fight and even during a fight cuts, broken hands and bad decisions etc.
Wlad Klitschko would be one of the best HW of any era if he had a bit more durability, because for a guy his size he is a very good boxer and he is a great athlete with great power.
your turn.
floyd has nice ring entrances
he does, he was clever when he put on the sombrero and mexican colors against oscar on cinco de mayo and it was also clever , the one vs gatti where he gets carried out by strong men vs gatti in that thing, dont know what its called
Oscar De La Hoya was a good athlete in his prime, regardless of his past performances (of the past couple of years). I have got to give him credit for the fact that he has fought everyone he could and hasn't really ever ducked anybody.
Just say it Tua. Deep down i know Leonard beat Hagler and it was not even that close.
even with hagler giving away the first two rounds(by not fighting in his proper stance), i still had hagler winning
Now, Floyd Mayweather Jr, He IS a all time great fighter, no doubt, fought remarkable fighters at the lowerweights(130) he schooled all of them mostly , in decisive fashion , he is second to none skillwise, potential is unlimited, he did have charisma when he was at 130, he deserves everything hes accomplished but he couldve done more,
i wont state why i hate him but floyd after 130 became a irritating whiny little ****er, i actually used to kinda like floyd till he moved up and became a whiny little irritating little ****er................(thats all im gonna say cause the thread is called 'give credit to fighters you dont like:"
Yeah, he has some great skill as a boxer, even though I think he needs to sharpen up his defense more, which could help hide the chin issue (something Freddie Roach will probably work on). But I am not going to over hype or over rate him yet because he is still yet to prove himself.
He will more than likely hold a belt, but he will not be a great fighter, because his chin is not strong enough.
That is true.
His chin issues aside he is very very talented still.

I think Amir Khan has great hand speed which is a factor that could be troublesome to any Lightweight, disregarding the chin issue.

By the way I do not dislike Amir Khan, he is just a fighter that I don't really rate at the moment. There are no fighters that I really dislike.
Antonio Margarito has the best chin for this modern era. He has good stamina and workrate. His resume keeps getting better and better.
Jeramin Taylor, while I think he lost 2 of his 4 controversial decisions (Hopkins II and Winky), had a pretty damn good run at Middleweight. He beat Raul Marquez, Alex Buenma, and William Joppy going up. Then when he put on a good first half against Hopkins, he managed to pull it out. He looked terrible in the rematch and in my view clearly lost it. Winky fight he was more impressive, but I still felt he lost.
He ruined Kassim Ouma's career. Karminzan beat him, but Taylor finished him off. Ouma threw a lot of punches in this fight, but Taylor was impressive against him, even if he was on the ropes for too long. He put the axe in Ouma.
-Mayweather has some of the best skills I have ever seen. I think he beats anyone in the world near his weight (even today.) He also had the talent to at least hang with the best ever.
-Darchinyan has one of the hardest punches I have ever seen.
-Judah was a so quick and hit so hard in his prime that I wasnt sure if he would be beaten until he got old.
-Haye has balls to step up and fight the baddest big man "post Lewis."
Credit to any man (or woman) who laces up a pair of gloves and steps into the ring.

Joe C has a shitty style, but he's still a damn good fighter.
PBF has mad skills, it's too bad he refuses to use em against top WW comp.
Dawson is good, he just needs to rematch Johnson.
Hatton shut down Paulie when I thought he'd get outboxed.
To be fair to PBF he's really a blown up FW, I think he realised he had moved up to far.

I give credit to Hopkins for beating Pavlik and being always treat to anyone.
I give credit to Darchinyan for beating Mijares making the most unexpected outcome of this year. (that was hard to say).
Yeah Darchinyan is a scumbag. What he said he would do to Mijares is just sick.
