All the girls at SMW are scared of Kessler.

I won't go as far as to say Jermain is scared of Kessler, but I am disappointed that he is not trying very hard to get a fight made. He seems really passive on the subject, just like he did when Calzaghe's name was brought up after the Lacy fight. I really think he has what it takes to beat Kessler and rule the SMW divison for a while, but if he doesn't have the confidence in himself, forget it. I think he's working his way up to Kessler in a fight or two. Call it a lack of confidence, maybe it is, but I can understand it after moving up in weight coming off back-to-back losses. I think he plans on being at SMW for a long time, and sees no rush in taking on the most proven guy in the division for his 2nd fight at the weight. If he did and lost, his future as a 168 lb gatekeeper would basically be written on the wall. He's better off proving himself at SMW by getting a couple wins over good fighters under his belt, thereby softening the blow of a potential loss to Kessler. I can't wait to see them fight, though...

Kessler is gettin too comfortable fightin stiffs. I don't think anyone at 168 fears him. I agree. Kessler needs to step up and fight somebody in the U.S.

I don't think the fighters are scared.. I think the promoters and maybe HBO are the real cowards..
