I consider Marquez to be one of the best boxers in the world. He would give Mayweather a run for his money. It is not clear who would win.
I don't understand how that is logical. Is JMM one of the best boxers in the world? Lol, I guess so considering his weight class maybe. I wouldn't say he is taking in consideration fighters from different weight classes.
Look, JMM fights on a world class level, so I give him respect, but I think eventually he will be exposed in bigger weight classes. This guy has been defeated more than once, and knocked down more than once. He is a clever counter-puncher that is in good shape and that comes to fight. Do not over hype this dude. My God, what skills does he really posses that makes him one of the best boxers in the world?
I say he is a good fighter, but he is not great IMO. The Casamayor fight I thought was over hyped because really Casa was pretty old (to be fair so is JMM) and Casa bearly got pass Katsidas. He really caught the young fighter being reckless, but Casa was not that good in the fight. He was not throwing combinations as he threw really one punch at a time. He set up nothing with his jab, although Casa's footwork was really good. I guess we will see how JMM does against Juan Diaz.
Remember, Mayweather is a 6 time world champion in 5 different weight classes. Maybe JMM wins, but we have NO RATIONAL reason to believe that he even belongs in the same ring as Mayweather, it is a waste of time for Pretty Boy Floyd.
floyd is too big, but even if they were the same size floyd would beat the living dogshit out of jmm.
That's an exaggeration.
I would envision a UD, somewhere along the lines of 117-111, 116-112, assuming if they were naturally the same size.
Otherwise, Floyd probably stops him.
What does the rematch have to do with associating Quintana's victory in the first fight with luck?
Quintana got caught, and Williams finished him like he was suppose to. You cannot gather anything from the second fight other than what I stated simply because the fight lasted, what a minute and thirty seconds?
Anyway, continue with your fallacious sarcastic comments everytime I logically drive your arguments into the ground.
You keep jumping from one topic to another. It's pointless, like my father always said, "never try to have a reasonable conversation with an idiot".
Cheers.
I aplogize, sir. You are correct. Mr. Quintata is the most talented man in the history of men.
You have won this argument.

Yes, I saw it many times during my study of Mr. Quintana's wonderful work, but actually, I prefer the rematch. The way Mr. Q sulks away from the ring like a spoiled child, that's the part I like best.

Yeah, either that or, you know actually watching the fight at least once would suffice.

Indeed, I study Mr. Quintana's masterful ring generalship all day, every day, whenever possible. That is, until my beautiful girlfriend slaps me around the face repeatedly, tells me to pull myself together and "get a life." I ask her "where can I download one?", but at this point, unfortunately, the fun has to stop.

Have you ever considered the possibility that would attribute "Paul's bad day at the office" to Quintana's lateral movement, accurate counter punching, and solid fighting off the back foot?
Actually, you're right. It was Paul's hair, or some other inane scenario you could possibly come up with. What the **** was I thinking.

Who wins this fight and why? This would be a great fight...
floyd is too big, but even if they were the same size floyd would beat the living dogshit out of jmm.
No, I said Quimtana.
Yeah, he got lucky. Paul had a bad day at the office. Maybe his hair wasn't right or something.

And, wow.
Did you just say Quintana got lucky?
How is thoroughly outboxing someone for 12 rounds or 48 consecutive minutes considered luck?
Seriously?
No, I said Quimtana.

Luck is what you call Foreman vs Moorer.
What the **** do you think I am, a psychic? Can I read Floyd's mind? I think it's apparent that at this stage in his career he's only going after the biggest pay days. But I wouldn't know because I'm not Floyd Mayweather. It's moot, anyway.
Regardless, what does him having his reasons for not fighting Williams have anything to do with speculation based on styles and past performances?
LOL. **** knows. I have no intention of having a serious, deep discussion about Mayweather though, I can't stand the guy.

Marquez has problems with fighters who counterpunch him, like he did with Casamayor, Wheeler, John and Norwood, Mayweather is a better counterpuncher than those guys and is a smarter fighter than them as well. Mayweather by decision.
Oh really?
So why not fight Williams then if it'd be so easy. Surely that'd be a big statement?
The guy would get ****ed up. Even Ellerbe (I think it was him anyway) said he'd worry about a fight with Williams.
Quimtana got lucky.
