David Haye, reap what you sow

Haye might be overwhelming underdog but he's hardly a nobidy, the guy was the unified CW champ and ring belt holder, he was already at the top. Underdog? Don't be so sure. Upsets happen all the time in boxing and this is a situation where an upset is very likely to happen.

Even if Haye loses by brutal KO I think he will get respect from most fans for giving it a go and actually wanting to get in there, not just with one, but with both Klits. Unlike James Toney who's been mouthing off for years about the Klits and done nothing about it, Haye is atleast willing to try and back up his trash talk and has shown no fear in his quest to get to them ASAP.

what do you base this on? haye is a nobody who will be schooled and knocked out.beleive me and most on here who say that the reason haye has talked his way into this fight so quick is because he knows it was his only chance because he surely would be knocked out before he made it to the top. Ignorance is a bliss!!! Because someone runs their mouth doesnt mean they're rubbish and because someone else is quiet and reserve doesnt mean they're no good. Selling fights is one of the most important things in boxing at the moment especially at HW and if some ignorant fans cant see this then God help you all. I am looking forward to this fight because it has create a lot buzz for the HW and it would finally improve the image of the klitchsko brothers in around the world a bit.

However, I thought this was fun; Andrew Harrison over at East Side; Haye’s pursuit of the brothers Klitschko is becoming remarkably reminiscent of Ali (then of course Cassius Clay) and his hounding of Sonny Liston, many feeling at the time that Ali was playing with fire and only worsening the inevitable beating Sonny was going to lay on him. In the event however their fears proved unfounded, Liston was bamboozled by the cocky challenger, utterly convinced he was fighting a crazed lunatic. The same bemused look Liston sported then now spreads over Vitali’s face whenever Haye starts running off at the lips, seemingly musing to himself ‘is this guy for real?’. You never know, folks - you never know. :boxing:

well in another story. Haye has already become a millionnaire on the basis of this one fight alone. How devastating is that?.... I like Haye a lot, but the fact he has got to Vitali is 1 geniune heavyweight contest is genius. Someone would have knocked him out on the way if he took the slow path to a title. If David Haye faced Matt Skelton, I would pick Matt Skelton. He'd wrestle him, maul him and taken him out late. I would have made some decent money on that. Haye had a chance against Wlad because Wlad is a pretty nervous fighter who has no inside fighting skills whatsover and he (haye) is fast enough to bang a right hand over the top of that jab and hurt him.

David Haye is so in trouble. Most boxers who become cocky have actually made it and HAye is a long way from being any kind of real deal. He has upped the anti and therefore the interest in the Klitshko fight but also put himself right up there to be shot down. Haye is not good enough to be in the same ring as either brother and his recent talentless win over whats his face showed him up to be far from a natural hard hitting heavyweight. Id like to see Haye put in his place, cocky, overrated (by himself) and ready to go. Klitschko will do it. End of! Haye will be put in his place soon enough. Come June he will have that smug, self satisfied grin wiped off his face.
