Was seeing a small interview of his about his new movie Wrestler. And found the interview very interesting.
He says that he was a good amature boxer and had always regreted quiting boxing. And thats why years later he stopped acting -which also cost him some roles- for boxing even though he was older now. That at first it was just to get one fight and then one fight turn to two, five etc. Till he finally retired from the ring. And started acting again.
Got to give credit to Rourke. I know how he felt and i did the same thing he did. So no matter what he tried. Props to Mickey Rourke.
On that note anyone have any of his fights?
