I don't deny that it is a real offer but when they say 4million my question is how in the **** are they gonna pull that money out of their ass without Arum losing money hand over fist. I love Tony but I'm not gonna pay 50$ for that fight and neither will the casual boxing fan (even the mexican ones). Gossen sent that offer because he knew Arum would reject it and he could use that to sell Paul Williams as "The Most Feared Fighter". The funny thing is Arum did the same thing with Floyd.

It's impossible for Floyd to be in a fair fight. It's not his fault he's that much better than everybody else.

I agree both fights are relatively fair but at the end of the day I imagine Mayweather couldn't be more excited about getting to 40 without having to fight a real welterweight.

It's probably going to be pacquiao then retire for Mayweather unless someone else steps up and becomes extremely lucrative in the next year.

I think both fights are fair. I think Mayweather and Pacman are of similar real size. I think Margarito is the bigger man but not by such a margin that it is unfair, given the level of Floyd's skill. The last option I don't know about. Mayweaether may retire again after he fights Pacquiao (40-0 is a lot prettier then 39-0), but I could also see him fighting a guy or two more if the money is right for him and his heart is in it.

both of these fights are fair. pac is the legit p4p number 1 fighter and is far more noteworthy and brings more money to the table than Margarito, who recently lost to Williams.
