i think b-hop would be the best trainer from the active boxers. i regard as the smartest boxer around he is an in-ring master, lets be honest not many 30 year old could beat pavlik let alone 43 year olds!!
Also think Erik Morales would become a great trainer for young mexican talents coming through doubt he would have the same effect on top fighters
I think MOST the good or great trainers were never great fighters. they were good after hearing about some trainers it sounds like many came short of the big time
Bhop of course. Then id say Floyd jr and James Toney. Students of James would have to be very patient tho...he would call em bums all day and put em through tough sparring sessions. But if somone could stick to it he would become champion.
i think floyd would be to cocky and not stay away from spotlight

i agree with b-hop, but the days of punch for punch like morales fights, those says are fading away. even mexicans are trying to box more and more.
I also think that realy great fighters would be bad trainers, they will hold there charge up to their standards and their legacy
Evander Holyfield. Guy knows the technical aspects of the sport in and out and doesn't mind helping out with younger guys like he did a few Olympics ago. Only problem is his pupils will have one hell of a hard time understanding the guy.. lol.
i dont think so...when asked about his strategy and what he did in training to win fights he always told he had faith in god and when god is with him he cant lose. He would tell his fighters to pray :P.
