My favorites? Well, I factor in a lot of things but also hype, expectancies and drama. This should be easy for me
1) Corrales TKO10 Castillo - best fight of all time, my favorite fighter ever won, KOing a guy with one of the best chins in the sport, plus I picked Corrales to win in round 10. Easily the best night of my life as a boxing fan. Just perfect
2) Holyfield TKO11 Tyson - the fight that got me into boxing for good, it was a huge upset (odds were ridiculous at like 16/1, made no sense) Tyson was considered unstoppable again, Holyfield considered washed up, just awesome night
3) De La Hoya TKO11 Vargas - never has a fight been this hyped and not only lived up to it but surpassed it. they called it "bad blood," and both guys bled, they traded rounds all night long and De La Hoya scored the KO over his arch rival. Vargas almost knocked Oscar out of the ring early only to get his ass kicked late
4) Trinidad TKO12 Vargas - I actually rooted for Vargas in both of these fights, but he lost this one after showing some great heroics. I really don't like Trinidad at all but love this fight
5) Ward SD12 Gatti - Even though I thought Gatti won, everybody considers this the runner-up to the best fight ever. I just loved how even the commentators were screaming their heads off during it
6) Tarver KO2 Jones - I picked Tarver to beat Roy in the first fight only to see him come up just short, so this was good vindication for me. Plus it had the greatest diss ever in boxing with Tarver talking to Roy during the ref's instructions
7) Lewis TKO6 Klitschko - WHY did it have to end that way?! Lewis was a round or two from destroying Vitali in a great heavyweight fight, the best probably since Ibeabuchi-Tua.
8) Pacquiao TKO11 Barrera - This was another one of those upsets I picked, so I'll always have a place for it. Fight was one-sided all the way through, but I told everybody Pac would beat him and was happy to see it come through. Plus I really hate Barrera
9) Rahman KO5 Lewis - Rahman used to be my favorite heavyweight, so this was huge at the time. I actually always loved Rahman until that joke of a performance this weekend. He showed almost less heart than Lamon Brewster and Sam Peter
10) Mayweather SD12 De La Hoya - I know, really weird choice, but you gotta realize Mayweather is one of my favorites. I wanted to see this fight ever since Mayweather called Oscar out in 2003, so it really was a dream fight for me. I enjoyed every minute of it because it was tactical boxing. Casual fans may have been turned off, but this was real, elite boxing
No way! :D
In no particular order:
1. JMM vs Casamayor
2. Barrera vs Morales I
3. Barrera vs Morales III
4. Carbajal vs Gonzalez
5. Holyfield vs Tyson I
6. Hopkins vs Tito
7. Gatti vs Ward
8. PBF vs Oscar

duran-barkley
duran-leonard 1
duran-hagler
ali-foreman

i just watched gatti vs ward. defintly my personal all time favorite. i always get choked up in the last two rounds. just hearin the crowd and all the announcers into it. plus gatti has always been a favorite of mine. i hated seeing him get dismantled when he got dismantled by a few difffernt fighters.
Chavez/Taylor I
Castillo/Corrales I
Toney/Jirov
Morales/Barrera I
Whitaker/McGirt I
Ali/Frazier III
Duran/Barkley
Eubank/Watson II
Morales/Pacquiao I
Hagler/Hearns
So many others.......that's a mix of my favorites as well as "must be there" types of fights. Whitaker/McGirt I is an unconventional choice, but it was a purists dream. I also vividly remember watching that fight when I was much younger. Duran/Barkley too.
MSM/Marvin Johnson, Trinidad/Vargas, Hagler/Mugabi, Nelson/Fenech II, Toney/McCallum I, Holyfield/Bowe I, Rosario/Ramirez II and Whitaker/Haugen all could rotate in and out of that.
7) Lewis TKO6 Klitschko - WHY did it have to end that way?! Lewis was a round or two from destroying Vitali in a great heavyweight fight,
lewis might have been a round or 2 away from suffering a heart attack. vitali jumping around the ring like a madman while lewis gasped for oxygen and couldnt move off his stool should tell you what would have happened.
Foreman vs Lyle
Gatti vs Ward
Agustus vs Ward
Toney vs Jirov
Vargas vs Trinidad
Hopkins vs Trinidad
Trinidad vs Campas
Leonard vs Hearns
Hagler vs Hearns
Dawson vs Adamek :D
I knew I forgot something obvious :pat:
Also, I love Hopkins-Trinidad and it's up on my favorite fights list, but not on my classic list.
Foreman vs Lyle
Gatti vs Ward
Agustus vs Ward
Toney vs Jirov
Vargas vs Trinidad
Hopkins vs Trinidad
Pavlik vs Miranda
Leonard vs Hearns
Hagler vs Hearns

Some good choices, DF.
I would also choose a few on that list. Pacquiao-Barrera 1 for sure, mainly because I was a big fan of MAB at the time and Pac just blew me away. Corrales-Castillo, throw some Marquez-Marquez in there, Hearns-Hagler, Benn-McClellan (as sad as the ending was), Lacy-Calzaghe (no one can deny it wasn't a spectacular, unexpected performance by Joe, surely?). I appreciate the brutal wars as much as the one-sided boxing clinics.
There are so many great fights. Maybe I should have made this a top 20.
The reason I'm doing this is beacuse I want to build up my fight library again. No doubt there are still a good number of fights I haven't seen. I lost my entire collection about 6 months back due to hard disc corruption. Years of collecting, all gone. :(

Only fights I've seen in its entirety (No Demarco-Basillo 1 or Zale-Graziano 2 where I've only seen crappy clips).
1. Diego Corrales-Jose Luis Castillo I
2. Muhammad Ali-Joe Frazier III
3. (tie) Archie Moore-Yvon Durelle I and Matthew (Franklin) Saad Muhammad-Marvin Johnson I
Tough to narrow down the remaining six. Here's a try.
Michael Carbajal-Humberto Gonzalez I
Muhammad Ali-Joe Frazier I
Bobby Chacon-Bazooka Limon IV
Erik Morales-Marco Antonio Barrera I
Felix Trinidad-Fernando Vargas
Matthew Saad Muhammad-Yaqui Lopez II
