Does a win over Pascal make Froch a better fighter then Jeff Lacy?

Does anyone think Froch would fare better against Calzaghe than Lacy? I do. my mother would fare better against calzaghe than lacy did.

Think about the defense and offense of the two fighters and compare. Froch is a Better fighter regardless

I voted no because I don't think his win necessarily makes him a better fighter than Lacy... however, I do think he is better than Lacy NOW. Carl's offensive aresenal is better than Lacy's by a mile, as Lacy's only weapon now is a looping right hand. Lacy's defense is better though; he at least keeps his hands up and makes an effort to block punches with something other than his face. That said, Taylor pelted Lacy with jabs and landed more than 50% of his power shots. Those stats don't bode well for Froch should he fight Taylor.

Froch has the better offense because of his jab but thats about it and that jab was missing alot against Jean Pascal... That jab wouldn't land once on Calzaghe. And I actually think Calzaghe is capable of stopping Froch since he lets himself get hit way too much. Lacy's defense>Carl Froch's defense Froch's offense>Lacy's offense

Prior to the win The Ring's most recent top 100 ranked Jeff Lacy at the very bottom of the list, 100. Froch was way ahead of that. Interesting, doesn't take much to rocket down and up in the rankings though. A win over Taylor and he'd shoot up. Wheres a link to the top 100 p4p out of interest?

Froch is a solid B fighter.. Great chin, and good punch.. I dont see he living up to the hype he is recieving on this forum.. Lets see him against Taylor.. I think Taylor would beat him pretty bad with is jab
