L0l.. Marquez isn't even a HOF.. His best resume was beating a 38 year old and a 34 year old fighter. He lost to an unknown Chris John.. Pacquiao wasn;t even prime but beat Marquez twice.. THe 2nd fight Pac was weight drained but still beat Marquez..
You'r f'king biased!!!!!
Good morning, Mexicans!
Tiny margins (especially this year) will select the FotY.
If JMM had got the verdict over Pac Man, then beating Casamayor ... I wonder?
Well, you'll also have Margo to cheer on.
But Manny is the obvious choice, isn't he?
either Pac or Margarito
imo Marg beating Cotto is by far the bigger achievement to Pac beating DLH
and JMM arguably beat Pac... if he'd been given the nod i reckon he would be up there... beating Pacman and Casamayor in one year
also if B-Hop had been given the nod over Calzaghe he'd def be fighter of the year... beating two undefeated champions at the heights of their respective careers
its pac hands down. how many former 106 lbers do you see KOing former 160 lbs titlists??? plus pac demolished a 135 lbs titlist. and he leapfrogged 140...
money marg's win was good, but it doesn't compare to what pac did. if money marg fought and beat pwill and clottey, then i'd say he'd probably be foty for sure... but he didn't.

you posting all the scorecards of all this people don't mean shit.
all you proved was that fight was 1 round away from being a win for the other guy or a draw.
make sure marquez doesn't lose his next fight , i want to see a 3rd fight at 140. pretty sure he won't anyway. marquez hardly ever fights top level competition......
The sad thing about it is that JMM's name only comes up when somebody is talking about Pac.
i'll ask battheman and abosworth. they read his boxing blog to laugh at him.
it's jibberish.
i just remember he had one because remember after the last time he said he wasn't coming back on this forum.
he pmed me and was like "can you post this? it's interesting."
LOL. PM me with a link sometime if you can. Cheers.
Where's the blog at? Would love to read it

poor ultimateboxa. no one likes him.
didn't your moms ever teach you guys not to pick on the retarded kids?
leave ult alone...... he's gonna write mean things about you in his blog.

Actually, you misread me. I'll have nothing against Pac becoming Fighter of the Year.
But, I find this subject interesting.
Well that's funny the cab driver told me different, but I'll run with the what the bus driver says from now.
My bus driver is a very credible inside source. I can't reveal who he is but I think he might have seen Mundine's gym once.
So yeah, you would be wise to believe. Don't forget to look out for an announcement about the Sturm fight in the SMH tomorrow. The Man is going to step it up, trust me.

absolutely. I personally had Marquez beating Pacquiao, but that doesnt change the fact that Pacquiao was a champ at 130lbs, 135lbs, and then beat a former champ at 147lbs, all in one year. that is extremely rare.
besides, yall have to admit...Marquez is probebly one of the worst style matchups ever for Manny, and yet Manny has good arguments that he won either fight.
No love for Anthony?
Nader, Soliman, Crazy Kim and Pintos all in one year. That is some pretty incredible stuff.
Plus he is fighting Sturm, Abraham and SRR all at once next month. The bus driver told me this morning.
