Yuriorkis Gamboa's Next Opponent..

Yuriorkis with Mayweather Sr. would be disastrous to any opponents.

His defence is terrible, but devastating offensively. He's like Amir Khan except with a slightly better chin (though he has been knocked down by some light punches)

Gamboa is fighting Caballero next after gonzalez. Not Rojas. Really? How do you know? Gamboa has to improve his defence but he has all the talent to do so. Anyway, he will beat most Top10 guys like Rojas but aginst the real stars he has to change something!

Gamboa is already capable of taking an alphabet title in this weakened division, but becoming champion - he needs work for big fights to become locks. Again I will go against the grain here and say that his guard should largely be ignored and taken as a given and set facet of his offensive game. He lets his hands go so much and it's such an ingrained habit that it's pointless to attempt to alter. What he needs is to work on lateral movement and sharpening his ability to slip punches (the latter of which is already pretty good). He's probably one of the few guys with speed and reflexes good enough to implement the shoulder roll as a regular defensive measure on the inside. LOL! I'm sorry, but anyone that says that Gamboa needs to work on his lateral movement has absolutely no clue what they are talking about.

This fight is just to keep him active because the fight with Rojas can't happen yet on january, and yes, it will happen unless Gonzalez pulls out (Gonzalez is the second one scheduled for that ESPN date, the first one was scared and pulled out from the fight). You people are terrible predictors, Gamboa will easily get rid of Rojas.
