There's really noone out there i can think of that fights quite like Mayweather or would be able to emulate Mayweather's style well enough to help Pacquiao train properly. Even if they were able to...Mayweather's reach is deceptively long so Pacquiao could be gauging a specific distance all training camp and have a hard time adjusting during the actual fight. What do you guys think??
Bernard Hopkins, I know he is bigger but he is one of the best defensive fighters in this sport... In my opinion even better then Floyd. Though floyd is great at throwing his head with punches.
:lol1::lol1:
LOL at all the big names who are listed I doubt any of them would be willing to spar with Manny given their status
in all honesty one of the best Mayweather impersonations I have seen was a kid Said Al Harack who was sent to the UK to prep Hatton for his fight. Mike Dallas Jr could impersonate Floyd pretty well and was in Mannys camp this fight solely for speed purposes
Roy Jones JR, got somewhat same tricky style.
He's old and slower now, obvious in the J. Calzaghe fight, but would be good enough for sparring. B-hopkins is not bad either, for a sparring session, especially if he goes back to his old style, where he didnt throw too many punches, but was standing and waiting and then throw 1-2 went back and then stand for another while and then throw 1-2...
Yea and I'm sure the great RJJ would take a position as a sparring partner to a 5'6 fillipino superstar.:chairshot
A sealed vault would be more appropriate because he's gonna have to be doing some thinking to crack Mayweathers defence.
a sealed vault as a sparring partner???:wtf:

Mosley did a good impersonation a year ago for De La Hoya.
Honestly.....and dont laugh, Khan may well be a good sparring partner as preparation for Floyd. Hes Orthodox, fast and hard punching, his combinations are good. Granted his chin isn't amazing and his defence is no where near as good as Floyd's but hell I think Khan would be of benefit.
Also, and although he is of a lower weight division, Joan Guzman does a pretty good take on the Mayweather style!
