After Floyd Beats Pacman... What Excuses could/will be made??

I really think he would beat Maywether, he is strong, a work horse, and is very good technical boxer. Floyd would loose, just like if he fought any of Margarito, Cotto, JMM, Varquez, etc. Just my opinion, doesnt mean im right! I have no "quarry" with you... that last sentence makes that an ok statement and thats no sarcasm.. I respected that whole post. If the fights at 140 they should'nt be any excuses. In a interview last month Roach said that Pac found it difficult making the 135lb limit and Pac will likely finish his career at 140. 140? hell nahhh

Of course if he is going to continue on after a Pacman fight, I do not really see any options for Floyd accept to fight whoever the top welter is. If he fights Pacquiao he has to bury the hachet with Arum, which removes a huge obstruction from a Margarito or Cotto fight (although if Cotto wins the rematch I have to think there will be a triology, I guess he could use his WBC status to fight Berto though). To me Manny -Floyd is probably the biggest possible fight in boxing (if Pacman beats up Hatton it is for sure) it is such a juicy fight, Good-Evil, super contrasting styles and they are not that far apart on size so I really want to see who the better man is in the ring (favor Floyd but there is no such thing as a sure thing in boxing). Right now it is the biggest fight that can be made, you have the p4p status, the fight over the heir to Oscar's throne, and to very well known fighters. After this fight though, the winner will be in a position to fight whoever he feels like, and the guy who is left standing at the top of the welterweight heap is going to be the hard core boxing fans pick, and even the general public would probably support that too.

This is a very reasonable fight that needs to be made. But after this I think it would be reasonable to ask floyd to step up and fight one of the top welters, or to ask Manny to face the guy who is the top at lightweight or junior welter. I'm leaning towards Floyd nuetralizing him in a good fight but no doubt, this is a fight worth making. No excuses about that, just the same unanswered questions as before; why the **** don't you man up and fight Marg and/or Cotto? And if it's Arum's fault you didn't before, how the **** is it you were cool wit fightin Pac?

I have watched Floyd since the beginning really so to me his welter run is just like icing on an already tasty cake. Welter is like 10-14% of Floyds career, and it was not that terrible of a run either, he just did not fight certain people that people wanted him to fight, but hey can't fight everyone. The best Floyd to me will always be 130 Floyd so whatever wrongs he did at welter are kind of meh to me~. Yea see you understand that floyd did not start his career at welter.. other people seem to not understand that. So he needs to clean every division and then move to the next just to get respect.. I think some people would not be happy seriously unless he fought pavlik and won.

They are mad because the fans are an extension of the fighters. So again they are mad because with floyd still being like the only top undefeated and every welter weight having a defeat out there it looks like the only way to get the most respect is to beat floyd. They all want him...beating him would solidify almost anyone... But floyd beating them just leads to another fight and the tossing aside of whoever lost to him. I have been having mostly good boxing conversation today, but some people would never give Mayweather credit because they seem very hung up on his 147 pound run~ This is a very reasonable fight that needs to be made. Who exactly did he duck at FLYWEIGHT? Because, in case you didn't know, that IS HIS DIVISION. Asshole. Your not allowed to put floyd in his natural weight guys.. You know the rules... Everyone else is their weight that they started out at and floyd is 5 pounds over whatever he is at night after dinner.
