They are nothing better than solid wins. Basically, Harding is probably as good a win as Kessler has had. Adamek is without a doubt a better win. Then you got Johnson and Tarver. Two guys you say are old and shot, but both of these guys peaked late in their careers and still presented great challenges. Basically, I think it is pretty useless debating Kessler with you. I am a fan but I manage to remain objective. You cannot do this.

well one things for sure everyone in boxing especially the harcore fans and alot of the Uk and european fans are breathing a collective sigh of relief, we will finally see just how ood or bad kess is, whether or not he is the real deal or a circus act? personally i believe that on talent and fighting style alone he is top 10 p4p, however i am a fan of his and realize that he has not beaten enough good competition to truly warrant such a lofty status. a fight with bika or miranda would be good exposure for him and show his skills to a bigger market and a bigger audience. a fight with bika in particular would make him unavoidable to taylor or froch as he'd have the WBA and IBO and probably the ring magazine belt. all i can say is thank f*ck hes gonna get his ass over to the states, it been coming for a long time. personally i think mikkel is looking to unify the SMW divsion and then move up and challenge dawson. he is very big, in fact huge for a SMW and has 2 more years tops at SMW before he will have to move up.

He needs a good action fight against a tough opponent to show he ain't just an overhyped paper champ. I'm gettin as frustrated wit Kessler as I've gotten wit Winky Wright.

Not for me Tarver was a good win as was Johnson. BUT Glenn hasnever beaten elite (Roy aside) adamek was totally dead at 175 and Eric Harding for me is ok. Calzaghe, Beyer, Andrade, Mundine......... Dawson's wins is against a 40 year old completely shot Tarver who fought stupid, a debateble decision against Johnson who previously lost to (ATG) Sven Ottke, a win over a severely drained Adamek and Harding (WHO?????). It's not fair to criticize Kessler for mainly fighting on home turf when the guy in his sig has barely left the USA though. I'm a Hopkins fan, btw. Just saying. Kessler's other notable opponents: Mundine Andrade Beyer Siaca Lucas Dawson's most notable wins: Johnson Tarver Adamek Harding So whilst Kess has fought the best fighter out of the two in Calzaghe, Dawson certainly has the stronger resume IMO.
