wouldnt surprise me at all after the punches tony took and has taken throughout his career, its kinda been his MO. Shane is a guy who is still very good especially when motivated and he will get a lot of that from both margarito, his desire to step out on top and his new trainer. Dont forget Mosley can crack the body too and not many have went downstairs on Margarito. Mosley also has no problem tying up and is very strong inside. When was the last time Mosley stopped a welterweight, how many years now? He just stopped a guy who came in fight night as big as a super middle weight... I believe Mayorga was like 175 pounds fight night if not more.

If he did stop him by KO, unlikely of course, I think it would just be a statement as in the Hopkins fight and would elevate his stock to all time heights but really do nothing for his legacy because Sugar Shane is cemented in boxing history IMO. His longevity will definitely be tested against Margs but, again, it's unlikely it will happen.

Agreed. Mosley is probably naturally stronger...and when he finds his rhythm he hits solid and often which could make the difference... Cotto is not a huge hitter...he's pretty accurate though...but he's not feather fisted either....and he put SERIOUS leather on Marg...dude just eats punches and spits out uppercuts.
