Super-Middleweight.........
So at first I laugh, then I think about it. The guy stands at 6"1' and has a reach of 82' and with the right gameplan I think he can pull it off. I've always said Margarito will beat him in the re-match, if that rematch ever occurs, in my opinion but there are fighters at Super Middleweight I can see him beating.
Jeff Lacy- I think pull can keep him at bay with him jab. Paul can definetly take a good shot as we saw in the first Margarito fight and I think his power is traveling with him.
Jermain Taylor- Again the key for Williams at any weight class is to fight tall and use that jab. I think he pulls off a win against Jermain as well, even thought I look at this as a pick em' fight, I think with the jab and the consitant pressure he will put on Jermain he can pull off a victory via decision
Kessler- Even thought Paul takes good punches I don't believe he can take Kesslers. Yet, again, if he keeps Kessler at bay with his 82' jab I think he'll have a chance of outworking Kessler. Still if I had to pick today, I'd go with Kessler because his power is far superior.
That a list to name a few but my point is at first it's ludicris to think a former welterweight can move all the way up to super middleweight and have any kind of success. Yet if we sit back and think about it, Paul William already has a Super Middle frame, if not Light Heavy, so he just needs to get the gameplan right for each unique opponent he faces.
u hadn't fought anyone
Me? If you mean Pavlik, he went against Miranda, who has a lot of power. Just admit Taylor can punch. He isn't a big puncher, but he has power.
Which fight? He caught Pavlik behind the ears; equilibrium shot.
Lacy still has a respectable chin. And Pavlik had never been hurt like that before, at least not that I have seen. When you say feather fists, it initially means a fighter can barley hurt his opponents, not the case with Taylor.

Shot or not, Lacy still has a granite chin.
Pavlik kept himself open? So you're admitting he was hurt? You realize Paul keeps himself pretty open as well, right?
Spings was too slick for Taylor, frustrating him and keeping him off balance, preventing him from getting any power behind his punches. Ugly fight.
Ouma has a solid chin and has never been KO'd.
The fact is that Taylor has hurt legitimate 160 and 168 lbers and you're arguing he's feather fisted. He may not be the best closer, but he is hardly Paulie Malinaggi.
Paulies girl laughs when he bitch slaps her.
Lacy is shot and Pavlik, at times keeps himself REALL, REALLY open.
Spinks? Ouma?

Williams style is like Pavlik but the better boxer also same body type. I would not be surprised if Williams stopped Taylor
Kelly fights taller than Paul and has better defense. He also sets up his power shots better.
Williams hasn't beaten a top 10 MW much less anyone at SMW.
With his elbow

Feather fists? He nearly knocked out Pavlik and hurt Lacey multiple times.

pwill gets hit too much for him to beat big 168 lbers like kessler. he whups every 154-147 tho
Ya I completely disagree with larryx because I think Jermain has feather fists and I believe Williams will keep Kessler at bay with a jab and even if he get hit, he a pretty good chin

Whens the last time Taylor knocked out anyone.
Kessler wouldnt even fight Paul.

I would be devastated.

Thats why I think Paul with the added weight, which would be more suitable for him, helps him in those fights.
Lacy, Williams would beat Lacy now.
Hopkins could easily have gotten the decisions
Wright's a far superior boxer to Williams, and Taylor beat Spinks, who is a much slicker, better defensive boxer than Williams.
Your statement was irrelevant.
