We can pretty much assume that once Larry Merchant is done, Max Kellerman will take over his duties, but what about Jim Lampley? Is it Bob Papa, Joe Tessitore? Anyone have any insider knowledge or suggestions?
honestly though, we don't have to think about this for a while because Lampley is still young enough to have alot of years left. Look at Larry hes 80 something and still doing it.
Yeah, we have some time. It's going to be hard to replace Jim

people are going to hate my idea. But I like Brian Kenny, he really loves boxing, and I think hes fun to listen to when he discusses it. I know hes not a play by play guy, but neither was Kellerman at first. That would be my selection. Just my opinion.
"Here's a guy that when he knocks out fighers, he wins a lot of fights" - John Madden. "Boom"
Never heard that one dans01234, but it sure was funny!
My pick, ain't nobody but me going to like it. I'll miss Lamps, but I'll miss Larry even more. But my dream pick after they're gone would be Teddy Atlas & Max. They rag each other a lot, both love the sport and know it inside out.
There would be insightful commentating as well as back and forth good natured cracks at each other, which I always like hearing.
i dont like bob papa for boxing at all. Bring in Joe Tessitore
Agree, I like Tessitore. He's from Connecticut too, my home state. Only thing is that Tessitore does football too and is really good at it.
