Who You Got: Collazo-Berto & SSM-Margarito (Multiple Vote Poll)

I got Collazo pulling out the upset. Hes more experienced, a slick southpaw - been dying for his title shot. Berto hasn't faced anybody of his caliber no matter how good he looked againest Forbes. I got Mosley pulling out an upset too, and yes people may LOL me on this one but i do. I see him fighting in spurts and using his speed and jab to control the pace. I think he'll keep the fight in the middle of the ring as much as possible, and his a tough SOB - he can take a hit ; I doubt he gets KOed. Hopkins trainer is training Mosley now who seems to have a good gameplan on taking every fighters strength away.

poll is here. elaborate on your prediction in the thread. I think Mosley can outbox Margarito for the first 6 a la Cotto. He will lose some of the rounds as Margarito makes a late push, but will seal the deal in the 11th and 12th edging Margs out with superior boxing. Collazo is going to outslick berto and hurt him several times in the fight, probably with an uppercut or another punch from underneath. it will be a close, yet convincing win for collazo. berto will be faster, but he will only potshot. he will have some impressive rounds, but in the end, it won't be enough. collazo will prove slicker and stronger in the end.... ive been saying this for a while. pretty much agreed.

I have Marg and Berto both winning on points Marg will outwork Mosley(who will have his moments) and win a competetive but comfortable decision. Berto will have a very tough fight with Collazo, he will look sloppy in a few of the rounds but look a touch more eye friendly in the rounds he wins. I have Berto by SD in this one (maybe controversey in this one)

i cant see how anyone would think berto is going to stop collazo when he was only stopped once early in his career in a very suspect stoppage. to my knowledge, he has only gone down twice, the flash knockdowns against hatton and mosley. how is berto gonna knock him out when mosley couldn't hurt him when collazo even had a broken thumb for 11 rounds?!?

Nah man not on this forum at least everybody knocks him! But just in general yeah a bit over rated id agree berto is a little overhyped. he has tremendous talent but has not been tested. collazo will test him. believe that!

Collazo is underrated, I think Berto is in for a big surprise. I do rate Collazo but i gotta say on This board i think its Berto who is under rated nobody seems to have any faith in him

I don't think Margarito would stop Mosley, I have the feeling that Mosley didn't trained that hard to fight Mayorga, because I don't think he's that shot as some people suggest. Anyway, I think Margarito wins by UD. Berto/Collazo, that will be a long technical fight. Collazo shouldn't start so slow like he uses to do, he has a chance of beating Berto, but I think Berto wins by a close UD.

Cases can easily be made in favour of Collazo and Mosley but im pretty sure Margarito is gonna really give Shane a beating, i just hope Shane can last the distance and i think Berto has the speed hunger combinations and tenacity to see off Collazo, this fights tougher to call tho

Margarito outworks and tires Mosley out, getting the TKO in the late rounds. Collazo probably outslicks Berto. The difference will be the ease with which Berto can be hit. Collazo UD.

Marg will overpower, outwork, and UD SSM. Berto will win a tougher than expected decision over Collazo.

I got Berto and Tony winning decisions. Both are competitive fights though. yeah, very close to call. i don't get the guys who think ssm can be tko'd so easily. it has never happened. the man has a chin and heart. if prime vernon couldn't do it at 154, margarito can't imo, though mosley is getting up in age. i don't see collazo getting stopped by berto either. that seems a bit ridiculous based on the fact that berto has never faced anyone close to his level, except forbes, but forbes is waay smaller than louis.... berto also was dropped by cosme rivera when cosme turned southpaw by an uppercut. berto proceeded to go the distance with cosme. this is the same cosme rivera that zab judah smoked in 3....
