its just a question ffs.... who do you think wins between floyd and joe, why dont i say a welterweight version of joe then
floyds skills against joes??
Well He Did Say A Light Heavy Version
Of course, that would be a great fight IMO see my first post.
Mayweather the greater fighter, but Joe has the tools to make him fight.
I hate crap like this. It's a stupid theoretical fight. Who would win in a fight between a skinny lightweight Tito Trinidad vs. a blown up Nonito Donaire. Who cares!
I think Mayweather is an all time great, I rank him higher than most people I know, (of those who have a decent perspective on boxing history.)
That being said, I believe that saying that prime for prime 147 Floyd (no such thing btw, since that's not his best weight) would beat easy a 168 Joe is simply ridiculous
What a great fight this would be!
Joe would catch Floyd with some of those looping shots (Corley, Mitchell, Judah -all lefties- showed that's like the only punches Mayweather can be caught with) and make him fight more aggressive than usual, and make him fight a lot (hard to take tiem off agains Calzaghe). Too bad Mayweahter lands straight right hands like nothing. Mayweather late TKO in a great competitive fight.
I think it should be revised to a 168 fight since Joe hasn't proven to me he is a legit 175 pounder.
If you want to use a "VS" at 175, just use it agaisnt fighters that were actually fighting at 175, for example:
How would Joe do against...Michael Moorer; Ezzard Charles; Archie Moore; Michael Spinks; Bob Foster....etc.
at pbf at 175 would have prob more power. Calz Defense is not amazing and he tends to leave himself open
hence the 5 knockdowns in this career. Floyd out expose him to be overrated
if it was the same exact floyd.... floyds defense would seriously expose joes winmill fury of death
And you can say exactly the same for Joe's rhythm and footspeed disrupting Floyd's defense.
who wins do u think, the exact same mayweather but a TRUE LHW version
look... a shot rjj and an old hopkins both put calz on his ass. an old hopkins gave calz the hardest fight of his life...
OBVIOUSLY a lt. HW version of floyd beats calz.
