ya i am picking paulie because his superior skill . . . i think its still a pick 'em fight. paulie may have trouble with hattons quick feet, but his come forward style is perfect for paulie. and hatton coming forward with such intensity could actually make paulies punches harder and effective. that being said, hatton may win but i dont see him stopping paulie, he is a tough little guido with lots of pride and heart.

and you have to take into account hatton's new style of fighting from training with mayweather, and how far away is he from being done due to his style of fighting and punch resistance.

I agree. ITS A PICKEM FIGHT. It's going to come down to this... Which fighter will be able to force the other fighter to fight their fight the longest? whoever can get the other to fight their style for at least 7 rounds wins the fight. why? because hatton can NOT out-box paulie. and paulie can NOT out-slug hatton. end of story. Mayweather Sr is going to be a big reason for the domination in my opinion. Ricky will go to his roots probably by the 7th round and anytime after that point, it should be goodnight or cruise control. Paulie doesn't have anything to put Rick in real danger. I'm a Brit. But pre Calzaghe/Jones Haye/Barrett and this fight. I thought this was the most foregone conclusion. I can't even imagine a Paulie victory.
